Governor Ortom: Those wishing Buhari dead should confront God

Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue state, has advised those wishing death on President Muhammadu Buhari to “go and confront God who made it possible for him to become the president at this time”.

Addressing state house correspondents after a visit to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo late Monday, Ortom wished Buhari good health and safe return back home.

He also prayed that God should help the current administration overcome the challenges which he blamed on “bad leadership” by the past government.

“Those that are wishing Mr. President dead should go and confront God who brought Mr President to be president of Nigeria,” he said.

“It was not his making. When that time came, God made it possible, just like some of us.

“It was God that made it possible for us to be here and nobody can remove us until the time that God’s programme for Nigeria is completed and God decides what to do next.”

He appealed to Nigerians to shun violence and acts capable of plunging the country into crisis.

Ortom also counselled those in position of authorities not to abuse power.

“Nigeria is the only country we have. Definitely, we don’t want to be like Syria and other countries that have got entangled in various calamities,” he said.

“I want to implore those who are bestowed with leadership, especially those who have taken oath of office, to obey the laws of the land, to protect the laws of the land and to live by the oath of office they have taken instead of playing politics of the extreme and causing things that can bring major disaster to our country.”

You will rot in hell if you kill in the name of religion, Sultan of Sokoto tells religious zealots

Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III has warned Nigerians that anyone who killed in the name of religion would go to hell.

The Sultan, who is also the Co-Chairman of Nigeria Inter-Religious Council spoke yesterday in Ilorin at the opening of a two-day international conference organised by the Kwara State government on security and peaceful co-existence in Nigeria.

He warned against any attempt by anyone to disintegrate the country in the name of religion, adding that the Bible and the Quran, two holy books serving as guide to Christians and Muslims did not recommended murder as a prerequisite to faithful worship.

He deplored the massacre in southern Kaduna, describing it as a Godless act and urged the military intelligence unit to arrest all the perpetrators of the crime.

The Sultan stated that: “We accepted to attend this programme for obvious reasons. We know the serious insecurity issues affecting our country now. There is no state that is not facing one crisis or the other.

“I give kudos to the Kwara State government for organising this forum to help us chart a way forward. I will challenge the state government to come up with a model that other states could emulate and have a peaceful atmosphere.

“God did not make a mistake when he created us as Nigerians and put us together. We must understand that and all of us who profess to be Christians or Muslims have a guide which is either the Quran or Bible. In these two major religions there is nowhere where killing of innocent people is allowed.”

He added: “Therefore, it is wrong when people wake up and dress themselves up with explosives going into market and other public places and shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and killing innocent people under the guise of ‘jihad’ thinking you are going straight to heaven.

“I have said it many times that they could profess to be Muslims but what they are doing is anti-Islam. It is against the Holy Quran, the dictates of Almighty Allah and they are going to hell for committing murder unjustly.”

Explaining the reasons for the crises in the country, he said, “we have been having this problem because of impunity in Nigeria. People do things and go scot-free. It means crime pays. People steal government money and nothing is done to them.

“We have been working hard to see how we can stop the menace of herdsmen. I don’t want to say Fulani herdsmen. They could be any other thing. How could Fulani who move with their cows and family come to a village, kill people, destroy everything there and disappear into thin air like spirits? What are our security men doing? Where is our intelligence gathering mechanisms to know where these people come from to know who they are?”

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed said it was apposite for a conference on security and peaceful co-existence is held at this crucial time in the country.

Opinion: Obazee and Accounting for God’s Money On Earth – By Jibrin Ibrahim

His rashness aside, Mr. Jim Obazee has raised issues of accountability that should not be disregarded in the review process that is to follow. He argued that: “In keeping other peoples’ money, you have to prepare accounts. That is why churches fought me so badly, took me to court as a person and then my office too…”

Jim Obazee, the recently sacked Executive Secretary of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria is a man with unlimited capacity to provoke agency. He got an alarmed President Buhari only a few hours to leap into action and sack him over an impending war he was provoking between the Administration and Nigeria’s Christian Community when people woke up to realise that the revered general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God was not retiring from office due to divine revelation but due to injunctions from Mr. Obazee.

It would be recalled that when the Emir of Kano was governor of the Central Bank and made major revelations of mega corruption against the then Jonathan Administration, in the comfort of law which guarantees the tenure of central bank governors, it was the same Mr. Obazee who emerged out of no where to create conditions for the sack of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Obazee had no qualms or fear in accusing him of financial recklessness and seeking to interrogate him.

In October 2015, the FRC under Obazee also suspended Atedo Peterside as the chairman of Stanbic IBTC, citing infractions in the 2013-14 financial statements of the bank as the reason for its decision. He directed the bank to restate and to re-issue its 2013-14 financial statements and imposed a fine of N1 billion on the bank. He also suspended Sola David Borha, the group managing director and other staff. He is a man with no fear of action, even if often the actions he takes are misguided or not clearly thought out.

One of Obazee’s most dramatic actions was in relation to civil society and religious organisations. Late last year, he directed not-for-profit organisations, including churches and mosques, to comply with a corporate governance code stipulating a maximum term of 20 years for heads of such entities. It was a decision that normally should have been considered and taken by the Corporate Affairs Commission, which regulates charities in Nigeria, but as they were not willing to act, Obazee acted. On the basis of his action, Enoch Adeboye, who had spent over 20 years as the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), decided to hand over the baton to Joshua Obayemi to head the Nigerian church. When people realised that the change of guard was an Obazee, and not a spiritual, revelation, there was deep anger, which President Buhari understood immediately, and for once acted fast by removing Obazee and approving the reconstitution of the board of FRC. The government also immediately suspended the Corporate Governance Code issued by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria pending a detailed review and extensive consultations with stakeholders.

Nigeria, according to Forbes, is the world leader in terms of the wealth of pastors… There is a debate to be held in Nigeria about the accountability of public resources collected by religious organisations. Can such resources just be disbursed as the boss decides?

His rashness aside, Mr. Jim Obazee has raised issues of accountability that should not be disregarded in the review process that is to follow. He argued that: “In keeping other peoples’ money, you have to prepare accounts. That is why churches fought me so badly, took me to court as a person and then my office too. Mosques and orthodox churches freely complied, but those Pentecostal churches called me to ask questions. They said: ‘This church is church of God and we are accountable to God.’ And I told them: ‘Very good, so you must take this church to heaven, you can’t operate it here’. When public funds are involved, government needs to ensure proper accountability.” We should think about this.

In this regard, it’s worthwhile recalling the story of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, general overseer of a pentecostal church then based in a disused cinema in north-east London. He was running one of the United Kingdom’s richest religious institutions, the Kingsway International Christian Centre, in Walthamstow. It emerged in 2009 that he had filed company accounts, which revealed a £4.9 million profit over the previous 18 months. It also had asset of £22.9 million – more than three times the amount held by the foundation, which maintains St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. As the boss, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo had placed himself on a salary of £100,000 in conformity with his preaching that God wants his people to be rich. The British asked some questions. The Church was registered as a charity and its wealth was derived mainly from its 8,000 congregation that gave £9.5 million in tithes and offerings in the 18 months to April 2008, dwarfing the £33,000 that the average Church of England congregation gave over the same period. Maybe the British were jealous. While British Churches were dying, this Nigerian Church was flourishing with active members who were paying money to the Church.

The British Charity Commission objected to how the Church leadership was using the money of the Church, which they believed belonged to members and not the leadership. They ordered Ashimolowo to repay £200,000 after it emerged he used church asset to buy a £13,000 Florida timeshare and £120,000 on his birthday celebrations, including £80,000 on a car. The Charity Commission ordered the Church to appoint new trustees and removed Ashimolowo as chief executive of the Church. The Charities Commission also queried Ashimolowo for earning royalties from sermons published in books and on DVDs through his own company – Matthew Ashimolowo Media Ministries, which was making a lot of profit. They insisted that as Churches were charities, it was public money for the benefit of members and people in need not Church bosses. Obazee’s script was therefore not totally crazy. Nigeria however is not the UK and Ashimolowo moved back to Nigeria and God blessed his Nigerian Church with even more wealth than the one he left in the United Kingdom.

Nigeria, according to Forbes, is the world leader in terms of the wealth of pastors. They claimed three years ago that our richest pastor is Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith World Outreach Ministry, aka Winners Chapel with an estimated net worth of $150 million. He is followed by Chris Oyakhilome of Believers’ Loveworld Ministries, a.k.a Christ Embassy with an estimated net worth of $30 million to $50 million. Then comes Temitope Joshua of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) who is worth $10 million to $15 million. They are followed by Mathew Ashimolowo and Chris Okotie. There is a debate to be held in Nigeria about the accountability of public resources collected by religious organisations. Can such resources just be disbursed as the boss decides?

Nigerian Christians and the abuse of God’s Grace – By Ayodele Oloyede

Deola asked Ben if he was prepared for the presentation he had the following day. He replied, “I am by the grace of God.”

Instead of going over his work to make sure everything was in order, he watched some movies and went to bed on the premise that the grace of God was sufficient.

Ben got up in the morning, spoke in tongues for one hour, dressed up and went to the meeting disorganized. He didn’t take his time to prepare and go over his work and couldn’t deliver as expected. Of course, he lost to someone who was more organized and prepared.

“I will come by the grace of God” was the reply Blessing gave to her friends when she was asked if she was going to show up for the make-up class. Eventually, she didn’t show up. Was that to say that the grace of God was not sufficient?

“Ik, how are you preparing for your forth coming examination?”

“I am trying o. I will pass by the grace of God.”

He kept on playing and before he knew it he, was pressured. He ended up failing 3 courses out of 7. His highest score was a C.

I can go on explaining how we have abused or misused the word GRACE.

Many of us have seen it as an avenue to be lazy. Most of us have neglected our part because we think success will fall on us like a pack of cherry all in the name of grace.

We have refused to take responsibility for our actions, we have refused to sit up, we have refused to do the needful because we are “Christian / Believers”.

90% of Christians are praying for God to give them the ability to buy what thinkers are producing. Check your prayer points for 2017( – house, car, mac pro, clothing, holiday in Dubai, e.t.c)

The funny thing is that half of the producers don’t speak in tongues. We have limited the grace of God to give-me-give-me.

The grace of God and speaking in tongues is supposed to give us an edge.  It’s supposed to put us few steps higher. It’s supposed to take us to places where our natural strength can’t take us; to give us insight, foresight and ideas.

Are you going to stop saying by the grace of God when asked a question? No, but you are going to be precise.

“Dorathy, are you going for the training tomorrow?”

“Yes, I will be there 8am by the grace of God!”

“John, how prepared are you for presentation?”

“My slides are ready, I have also studied the materials they gave me and I will go over them again and by the grace of God, only the best will happen.”

In 2017, take responsibility for your life.  Roll your boat. Be specific. Know what you want and go for it. Do something.

The same rain falls on the good and evil, principles are universal.

Grace gives you an edge. DON’T ABUSE

God told me not to serve in Buhari’s government for the first 2 years, says Pastor Tunde Bakare

Tunde Bakare, pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly, says God instructed him not to serve in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in its first two years.

Bakare, who was Buhari’s running mate in the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) during the 2011 presidential election, said many of his church members were mounting pressure on him to join the current administration.

Speaking to his church members in preparation for 2017, Bakare said it was best to follow God’s instruction in a bid to achieve peace.

He advised government officials “to come back to God”.

“Are you not glad you serve a God who can say come up here and I would show you the things that would happen in the hereafter?” Bakare asked.

“Here we are today, almost two years into this administration. Many of you were putting pressure on me. Even a retired inspector-general of police wrote to me,  he said; ‘Pastor, if you have only served in this government, maybe it would not be like this’.

“And I said to him, ‘God said to me, don’t touch it for the first two years. Don’t go near it, just be praying for them and be watching, and be monitoring the things that are happening’.

“God knows where you should go, when you should go, so stop going aimlessly about. As many as are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God.”

Bakare added that he would address national issues during his state-of-the-nation address scheduled for Sunday.

“God didn’t make a mistake by putting together a country called Nigeria” – Sultan

The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has cautioned those agitating for secession to desist from it in the interest of the country’s unity.

He spoke in Enugu at the grand reception organised by the state government in honour of the Rangers International Football Club.

The sultan said he was committed to the unity and indivisibility of Nigeria, adding that those clamouring for a separation were making a huge mistake.

The monarch warned politicians and leaders to desist from using religion and ethnicity to divide the country.

He said Nigeria would continue to flourish with the contribution and skills of the different ethnic groups, religions and individuals.

He said there was no way the country could break up because all the ethnic groups have intermixed across the country.

“We have Igbo people everywhere in the country and they are industrious and we have Hausa people who have not lived anywhere else except in Igboland. Also, we have Yoruba people in different parts of the country who are contributing their quota to the society.”

“I am God’s anointed, come at me at your own peril”, Fayose tells EFCC.

Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, has described himself as “God’s anointed”, warning the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to come after him at its peril.

Fayose said as things are currently, the anti-graft agency cannot prosecute any meaningful fight against corruption.

“If they have studied me very well, they would have stopped running after God’s anointed,” read a statement issued on Fayose’s behalf by Lere Olayinka, his spokesman.

“The more they run after me, the more they hit their heads on the Rock of Ages and get themselves fatally injured.”

He also commended the judiciary for “standing firm against the EFCC’s tyranny”, saying the way and manner the commission had been going about “shopping” for court orders against Nigerians should concern lovers of rule of law in the country.

Fayose expressed delight over the court order that asked EFCC to release all his property.

“It is the height of irresponsibility and fraud for the EFCC to have approached Justice Okon Abang for a similar order and concealed the fact that the order obtained from Justice Dimgba elapsed on September 3 and had failed to approach the same court for an extension.”

“The EFCC and its corrupt elements fraudulently approached Justice Abang, knowing that the judge himself is fraudulent as established by the court of appeal and the same EFCC has even moved to the Federal High Court, Akure in search of another order, ostensibly because they have realised that the judge in the Federal High Court, Ado Ekiti won’t play ball.

“Justice Dimgba gave interim orders on July 20, and reaffirmed on August 3, and the orders were made to last for 45 days to enable EFCC carry out its investigations. Instead of going back to the same court, the EFCC ran to Justice Abang, a judge already adjudged to be fraudulent by the Appeal Court to obtain another order.

“Should we now say that 45 days was inadequate for the any meaningful investigation to be carried out by the EFCC if indeed the commission was interested in investigating anything? Didn’t EFCC carry out its investigation before going to court to seek order to seize the property?

“The EFCC and its collaborators should stop running after me as if I am the only reason they were employed. They should keep their gun powder dry and wait till the end of my tenure, and I can assure them that they will be defeated as I have always done, that is if they are still around then.”

Nyesom Wike: Nobody can come after me because God is with me

Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state, says nobody can come after him because God is with him.

Fielding questions from journalists at the Rivers state government house, Port Harcourt, on Saturday, Wike explained what made him prevent the raid on the house of a judge back in October.

He said he had no personal interest to protect, but was only performing his duty as the number one citizen in the state.

“Nobody can be after me because God is with me. People say there is a high rate of kidnapping in Rivers state… If someone sends you a text message to say there is problem, that her house had been surrounded by some men putting on black,” he said.

“You call the director of Department of State Services (DSS), he didn’t pick. You call the commissioner of police, he didn’t pick, you will be forced to go and see what is happening. I took my security to the place and asked them what they were doing at the place at 1:30am? They said they had orders from above to arrest a judge, and that was a woman.

“Assuming they took her away or kidnapped and killed her, people would have said Rivers is not safe. Do you know the effect that would have had on us? I took oath to protect life and property, it doesn’t matter who.

“I have no business with any judge or anyone for that matter, if there is any crime that you have committed, you face the music. But things should be done in the appropriate manner. You don’t treat a judge as a criminal.”

He also denied the audio where he allegedly threatened an electoral official during the legislative rerun election.

Wike described it as the handiwork of his detractors.

“Have I not said it before that if you come to Rivers to rig you should prepare your will? Have I not said it? So what is it about threatening to kill electoral officials?” he said.

Asked if he held any conversation with an INEC official, Wike said: “Who is the INEC official that I spoke with? They claimed I gave the official money and was asking him where he is from? How can I be asking someone I gave money where he is from?

“What is all this crap? Let them produce video evidence; we have been able to show video of policemen rigging election. What have they done about it?

“The only person I can even speak to as far as INEC is concerned is the resident electoral commissioner (INEC) or the national commissioner, and that’s if I have any report. There were over 2000 ad hoc staff during the election, so which one did I talk to? Which one did I not talk to? Please discard those thoughts.”

2019: God Will Give PDP 2nd Chance- Bode George

Former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George has expressed hope that God and Nigerians will give the erstwhile ruling party another opportunity to rule the country, again, in 2019.
George said this, yesterday, at his Ikoyi, Lagos office, when he hosted the South-West zonal executive of the party, led by Eddy Olafeso, which paid him a working visit.
George premised his declaration on what he called the poor performance of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government.
“Nigerians have seen the two sides of the coin and they have an opportunity to decide, based on your performance, based on the trust that they have in you. God is a God of second chance,” he said and  dismissed President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as “lacking the capacity to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians.
“I have been advising my oga (boss), Mr. President, what does he want to be remembered for? I am talking now as a general, not as a politician. If anybody is telling him, all is well; all is not well. Whatever he will do to alleviate the despondency in the land, he must do.”
He said for the main opposition party to launch itself back to reckoning, it must do away with imposition of candidates which he noted was its undoing.
“If we want to win, we must tell ourselves some home truths and go back to our drawing board. We must be just, we must be fair and we must be equitable.
“We should learn from the mistakes of the past. The penchant that ‘I am in charge, I can do and undo,’ it must end. So, let us learn that there must be justice, fairness and equity. It is a tripod: if we remove any of these three legs, we are going nowhere. If we don’t do that, we are wasting our time.
“So, all we need to do is gather ourselves together and let us give the best hands to manage us through this storm. We need experienced captains to take us to our destination. I wish them well.”
Speaking on the intractable leadership tussle rocking the party, the former deputy national chairman of the party accused the former Borno State governor and factional national chairman, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff of doing the bidding of certain forces outside the PDP, whom he claimed were determined to run the party aground.
“I will just appeal to Senator Ali Modu Sheriff: enough is enough. The political rascality, judicial rascality must stop for posterity. All these unnecessary litigations.
“There is an adage in Yoruba that when you see a bush rat dancing in the middle of the road, the drummers are in the bush. Let him take it easy, for the sake of the future generations of this country. Those who invited him, I hope they have learnt a lesson. It takes one terrible person to throw a stone into the well, one million professors won’t be able to find that stone.”
Earlier in his remarks, Olafeso disclosed that his leadership was on a working visit to George to brief him about the outcome of Ondo State governorship election and the future of the party in the zone.

TB Joshua: The line between watching CNN & hearing from God – Emmanuel Ekaji Ibe

I don’t know what to make of the US election as I still cannot understand and figure out properly what happened. Till then I would address other surrounding issues.

Prophet T.B Joshua is my focus here and for a long time, I have observed keenly how this man has moved from one dirty controversy to the other; how sometime ago his church was involved in a building collapse as a result of the clear disregard of warnings not to add more storey buildings on the existing one.

Still on that issue, there were incidents were he was involved in bribing Journalists so as not to publish evidence that could cause further damage to him. I have watched all these but never for once did I comment on it as I really try to avoid criticizing religious leaders but I have long since changed my stand.

T.B Joshua is one of the major problems of the Nigerian society and he represents the large number of other so called religious leaders who take advantage of the gullibility and mental decay in Nigeria to enrich themselves and brainwash the multitudes in buying whatever crap they sell to them, every Sunday.

T.B Joshua is not just dull and unintelligent, he is a major fool and unfortunate soul. He goes to church every Sunday preaching his own version of Christianity and God, using God to make money off innocent worshippers.

He was preaching at what he calls church on Sunday and all of a sudden he said the Lord revealed to him who was gonna win the US Election, he said it would be a lady, obviously Hillary Clinton and that she was going to have problems with the US congress and his church members were so excited and were applauding the prophesy.

He talked about some other things, confidently spitting nonsense and a very large audience believing everything. Wow!

The US election is over now. If you call T.B Joshua a fool, an idiot, a stupid man, and all sorts you are right and no one has the right to question you.

Even if you desire not to speak, you are right, res ipsa loquitur, the fact speaks for itself and his folly is so glaring for his Sunday audience to see and the world to conclude finally that he was a filthy piece of shit all along.

Donald trump won. Now the offering being paid in his church definitely he’d use part to subscribe for DSTV, there is every possibility that his watching of CNN for too long might have influenced his decision.

There really cannot be anything wrong with a religious leader airing his political views as we have seen father Mbaka of the Catholic Church do several times but when you hide under God and religion to defraud people, you are a good for nothing soul and amongst the worst humans in this world.

God positioned Donald Trump to fight immorality in U.S. – Nigeria’s Christian leader

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Samson Ayokunle, said President-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, was positioned by God to fight immorality in the country.

Mr. Ayokunle said this at the 29th General Assembly of the Christian Council of Nigeria (CCN) held at First Baptist Church, Garki, Abuja, on Thursday.

The three-day programme is tagged: “God of Life: Lead Nigeria to Justice, Peace and Dignity.’’

He called on Americans to watch very closely as the new administration would not tolerate the issues of immorality in the country any more.

According to him, God has now positioned Mr. Trump to fight the immoral life in the American society. He said the nation that was once known as God’s own country is vastly becoming Sodom and Gomorrah.

Mr. Ayokunle said that there was an extent to which a nation would emphasise circular and individual liberty to the neglect of God’s absolute reign to the affairs of men.

He also called on Nigerians to be on guard at all times as Boko Haram had not been fully defeated, following the recent killing of Lt. Col. Abu Ali and some soldiers in Maiduguri.

He said “it is not over until it is over; the fact that a top army officer was killed is a signal to the fact that we have not defeated them.

“It was also an attestation to the commitment of the Federal Government to fight this demon called Boko Haram.

“So, everybody should be more committed so that the souls of those who died might not be in vain.”

The CAN boss called on Christians to be united and not to make their doctrinal beliefs to overwhelm them because Jesus Christ prayed for the church to be one.

“We are diverse because of our doctrinal beliefs but we must be one because Jesus says the church must be one; He prayed for the church.

“I think the problem with us is the placing of much emphasis on autonomy where it becomes its petals when we lack respect for one another.

“There should be collective recognition of leadership, desire to put up the things of the world and eternity-centred in such a way that occupying position does not matter to anybody,’’ he said.

He said that corruption in the country was endemic and called on the government to keep fighting it so that the country would not be crippled.

According to Ayokunle, corruption appears to be endemic in the Nigerian society and it has got to the fabric of our national lives; there is hardly any sector that can be exempted.

“By the result that corruption has given us presently, I think it is high time we all rose and fight the demon; without fighting it, it will cripple us.

“If we are not very careful we will end up becoming a crippled giant because we have allowed corruption to enter into our system,’’ he said.

Earlier, President of CCN, Emmanuel Josiah, had called on Nigerians to support the fight against corruption, asking the citizenry to repent and return to God.

According to him, the greatest challenge that we are facing now is sin, and wherever there is sin, we cannot experience any progress and God can never be there.

“There is no child of God that will not support the fight against corruption,’’ Mr. Josiah said.

Rufus Ositelu, Primate, The Church of the Lord Prayer Fellowship Worldwide, said that corruption could not be fought totally but could be brought to a minimum so that the country would move forward.

According to him, what is really disturbing the progress of this country is corruption. If corruption is fought to a standstill by next year, we will see progress in the country, he said.

God will punish Mark Zuckerberg for removing Radio Biafra from Facebook – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, of allegedly ordering the removal of the Radio Biafra page from his platform.

IPOB told Zuckerberg that God will set an example with him for aligning with President Buhari to oppress them.

The group also accused the Facebook owner of suppressing freedom of speech and expression, adding that he will see the judgement of God upon him.

IPOB in a statement obtained from Daily Post, said “Mark Zuckerberg, a Jew, who should know about the horrors of fascism and genocide, is helping an Islamist Buhari to continue the mass murder of innocent Biafrans.

“Radio Biafra London before its shut down by Zuckerberg who visited Buhari recently, was the biggest and most vibrant discussion forum on facebook with nearly 1 million members.

“Why a man whose family benefited from the freedoms and opportunities the land of the free USA had to offer can turn around to brutally suppress freedom of speech and expression is beyond human understanding.

“Facebook has made itself the wiling tool of repressive regimes and psychopathic murderers in power such as Major-General Muhammadu Buhari the Nigerian ruler.

“Mark Zuckerberg must know that the day he cut the deal with Buhari at Aso Rock his Facebook satellite was destroyed at the launch pad.

“That was a sign from the Most High that he should stay out of this battle between good and evil. Now that you have sided with the Devil, Mr. Zuckerberg, you will see the judgement of God upon you.

“The God we serve will set an example with you that mankind may know that HE is the God of Biafrans. If you do not turn back from your evil ways.

“Look at Nigeria today and know that God’s anger is upon her and her leaders because they dared to arrest Nnamdi Kanu. Satlink Israel lost their satellite because Buhari persuaded them to remove Radio Biafra satellite radio broadcast from their services.

“Nobody comes against IPOB and survives it. We urge you to retrace your steps and reinstall Radio Biafra London Facebook group.”

Mark Zuckerberg met with President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa on September 2, 2016.

#MentalHealth: Seeking Medical Help Doesn’t Contradict God’s Word – Sam Adeyemi

Just in the wake of Sunday, Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Church took to twitter to share what he termed “Mental Health”. He made it clear with biblical references that the society and people really need to understand that these people need medical attention not stigmatization.

He started off with the hashtag #MentalHealth.

Sound health is part and parcel of our Salvation package he tweeted

The rest of his tweets read:

  • The Prosperity and Health of the Soul is the foundation of the prosperity of the physical body
  • There is a controversy amongst Christians on Mental Health issues because we believe it is a Spiritual issue
  • Mental illness is as real as physical illness. The lack of understanding gives room for a lot of Ignorance & stigmatization
  • Mental Health is the state of emotional, psychological and social well being.
  • As a result of ignorance on this issue, we label mental patients and run away from them.
  • The root cause of mental illness is Sin. (Rom 6:23)and the foundational solution to mental health is Salvation
  • To maintain mental health feed your spirit and soul with healthy diet of God’s word.
  • If you don’t get your identity from God’s word you will believe everything the enemy tells you.
  • If you allow Satan and your circumstances to define who you are it will distort the balance in your mental state.
  • I speak on mental health not as an expert in psychiatry but on the believe that sound health is part of our Salvation
  • Feed on God’s word, believe you have the mind of Christ. Interpret your life circumstances through the eyes of God’s word.
  • You must fight and win the battles in your Mind. 2nd Corinthians 10:4. You have all it takes to win as a Christian.

God directed me to sack my commissioners – Udom Emmanuel

The Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel, has claimed the holy spirit of God led him to sack the State executive council, adding that all indigenes stand a chance of making the next cabinet.

He further claimed that he was looking up to God to help him constitute the next executive council.

The governor, in a statement issued last week by the Secretary to the State Government, Etekamba Umoren, sacked all the commissioners in the state with immediate effect.  and no reason was given for the decision, directing them to hand over to the permanent secretaries in their ministries.

Emmanuel, who was speaking at a programme in Reigners Bible Church International, Uyo, capital of the state, pointed out that he did not know who would be selected as members of the next executive council of the state.

According to him, “As I speak, I do not know who will make the list of the next cabinet, and I don’t even know when I will constitute the cabinet,” he said.

“There is no point rushing to make predictions and draw conclusions because I have left everything in the hands of God, to direct the selection and choose those He knows will be sincere and committed to the Akwa Ibom course.

“Every indigene of Akwa Ibom, including those seated here, stand a chance of making the list.”

God has asked me to recover my stolen mandate, says Ize-Iyamu

Osagie Ize-Iyamu, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Edo state governorship election, says God has told him to recover his “stolen” mandate.

Addressing some protesters in Benin, capital of the state, on Friday, Ize-Iyamu alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) robbed him of victory.

He said the alleged robbery of the Edo people’s mandate would not stand, adding that he had been seeking God’s intervention in the past few days.

Ize-Iyamu said while his supporters had refused to be violent, those who were given the victory by INEC were ashamed of celebrating.

Dan Orbih, chairman of the PDP in Edo, said the party was putting everything in place to defend democracy.

Appealing to the protesters to eschew violence, Orbih maintained that the will of the people must prevail.

Ize-Iyamu’s statement comes barely 24 hours after Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who won the election said he was dedicating his victory to God.

God called me to govern Cross River — Governor Ayade

Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River has said that he was called by God to govern Cross River to provide needed dividends of democracy to the people.

Ayade made the statement on Friday while addressing thousands of supporters who came to receive him at Margaret Ekpo International Airport in Calabar on arrival from Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the supporters besieged the airport in solidarity with Ayade ahead of the Dec. 9 Supreme Court judgement in a case of alleged falsification of his age.

The case was instituted by Mr Joe Agi, Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Agi, who contested the 2015 PDP governorship primary with Ayade, had challenged the eligibility of the governor to contest the primary.

Ayade told his supporters at the airport that since power comes from God, he was called by God to govern the state at this particular time.

He said: “I was preparing to run election for the senate when God called me and said I should come and be governor. I am a servant of God and I urge you all to put me in prayers.

“God shall not forsake us at this point; His miracle will prevail at the appointed time. When the righteous people are ruling, God will take control.

“God has the final say in this case. You can have the capacity to manipulate man, but you cannot manipulate God.

“I came into this office as governor under the inspiration of God.

“Today, we are before the court of man to decide the faith and destiny of Cross River people. God shall take control and establish himself.

“Truly, in the name of God, I am totally innocent. If I come before the court of man, I come with supplication for clemency from God.’’

The governor said that his administration had not failed in paying salaries of civil servants in the state and urged the people to continue to support his administration.

“I dedicate today to God that if I truly came to serve the people, He will surely see us through. If the worst happens, then it is God’s will.

“We have no capacity to appeal at this level. We are now appealing to God that knows our hearts in this case in question.’’

Mr George Ekpungu, the state Commissioner for New Cities Development, told NAN in an interview at the airport that the people of the state would resist any attempt to remove Ayade from his seat.

Ekpungu said that the people of the state voted massively for him, hence they entrusted him with their mandate.

Why I Had A Son Out Of Wedlock – Eucharia Anunobi

Nollywood veteran actress turned evangelist,Eucharia Anunobi has opened up on being a single mother and how having a son out of wedlock was a mistake.Excerpts from her interview with the New Telegraph Newspaper

You once said that your intimidating profile tends to discourage men from asking your hand in marriage; what is happening to your love life?

I can’t remember ever saying such a thing. I don’t know about men being scared of me (chuckles). Well, I will take it that what you are saying is that I’m not in a relationship. Of course you know I would not want to discuss my private life. But I have to tell you what I am doing and what is not happening, I believe in things that are incubating; if it’s meant to come out, it will come out. A lot of people do not know of my commitment to my Christian life too.

How is your son doing? He must have really grown now.

Very well, we thank the God Almighty, the Lord has been faithful.

What is it like being a single parent?

It was not a deliberate choice that I have made, it came by chance, it came by mistake. God does not kill His children who have made mistakes. He would rather sustain them and tell them that He is the owner of all things. The Lord has been sustaining me as a single parent I don’t think about it, all I know is ‘God, you are the one that created me and the child that you gave to me’. So whatever that is needed of me, it was a wrong choice that I made.

Have you tried to reconcile with the father of your son?

When somebody says that I do not want to be a responsible father what do you do? You don’t take a horse to the river and force it to drink.

Is there any plan of settling down, your ideal man?
Of course, why not? Every woman says I want tall black, handsome man. We all need good things. All the good things every normal woman wants, I want it too. He must be somebody who has the spirit of God, someone who has Christ as his backbone.

What is the name of the church or the branch you pastor?

I am an associate pastor with the Fresh Oil Ministry International Church at Egbeda in Lagos. I am an ordained evangelist as well as an apostle; I am a convent speaker in and around the country. I had gone to minister in the United States of America, a lot of West African countries, and I have ministered in a lot of churches in and outside the country and some churches and organisations invite me to be their speaker at their various meetings.

Making Babies In Poverty… Charly Boy Writes..

Go ye into the world be fruitful and multiply, oh! yes that’s what the good book says. However certain people take this literally. They see children as a blessing from God and they view it as their duty to fulfill this prophecy by promoting procreation, rejecting all forms of birth control, including natural family planning.

Children are viewed as a reward from God and the more children one has, the more one has been blessed by God but the big question is, does this put food on the table especially in this hard times?!!

I’m still trying to wrap my head around why the poor have more children when they can’t afford to raise them. And why the rich have fewer children when they can afford to have more. The population demography of any society is vital in Nation building and governments around the world have effected policies to control this growth.

A very good example will be China’s one child per family policy, which has now been upgraded to two. It will be commonsensical to say that people breed their kind this means a rich family is most likely to have rich children, and a poor family, poor children. In Nigeria we have a large majority of low income earners who are multiplying the number of children they have. Children they can not afford to take care of. So wouldn’t it make common sense to say that the less one earns, the less children you should have?

This is one of life’s ironies.

People who are rich and can afford to have more children will not yet those that can not afford it do. Low income spouses spend more leisure time together than families of high income earners. It will be typical in our society today, to see a high income family where both couples are gainfully employed, close work late and get home from a hectic day too tired and stressed to indulge in any intimate act but the lower income earner seem to have more leisure time and less distractions to focus on their love plays with their tomato selling wives. Why is this so?

Breeding children has become a recreational sport for the poor, I feel this is an issue that we all collectively as a society need to address. I use to think that it was mostly in the rural areas that this kind of demography is rampant but that’s not the case, the other day I was shocked to find out that a friend’s security guard who earns 30,000.00 naira monthly has two wives and ten children. Hummmmm, How on earth are they going to survive on that, what type of education, feeding, clothing can he provide for them in today’s Nigeria. Don’t they understand that intimacy between spouses is also an occasion to be savored and pleasurably enjoyed and not just for making babies?

We all need to wake up to the harsh effects that this is having.  Government needs to have more enlightenment and sensitization programs that will address this issue. There is a need to inform the populace about the harmful effects of having children that one cannot afford to raise properly. The most obvious aftereffects are when you see children hawking in the street in order to fend for their families. This is not an issue for the government to tackle alone, the private sector also has to join in. The first solution will be circulating constant information about family planning: Due to a range of factors including education and location of living, poor women don’t have access to as many family control measures as richer women so richer women have substantially fewer “unintended” pregnancies than poorer women.

For all my brothers and sisters coping with survival I urge you all to think more about family planning, I know God blesses us with children but we must learn to plan our family according to our means. By the way, I have 9 children but thank God my school fees days are over or else e for hardooooo. So my simple summary today is, cultivate your sperm according to your pocket size. A word they say, is good for the wise.

‘Arsenal Does Not Necessarily Need God To Win’ – Arsene Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in a bizarre interview with French magazine L’Equipe’s Sport spoke on a wide-range of topics including time, religion and more. When he was asked for similarities between his faith and his football and whether he has a “mystical power” over his players, he said;

“I am only a guide. I allow others to express what they have in them. I have not created anything. I am a facilitator of what is beautiful in man. I define myself as an optimist. My constant battle in this business is to get out there is beautiful in man. We can at this level portray me as naive.

“At the same time, it allows me to believe it and it often gives me reason.” Wenger who early in his career used to read from a book of prayers before matches says he doesn’t do that again and doesn’t feel his team needs ‘God to win.

“Unfortunately today, it works less! At the same time, fortunately, it means that my team does not necessarily need God to win. The only time possible for happiness is the present. The past gives regrets and future uncertainties. Man quickly realized this and created the religion. It forgives him what he has done wrong in the past and told him for the future not to worry. I’m always afraid of being late and not to be ready, not being able to accomplish all that I planned. My personal relationship with time is scary. To go back in time, to look behind yourself is equally staggering. First of all, you’re frightened because there is less to come than the time already spent. If you wallow with that feeling, it’s definitely scary and sometimes you feel guilty.”

“Religion Has Become Very Oppressive” – Kirk Franklin

Kirk Franklin’s title for his 11th studio album “Losing My Religion” sparked a mixed reaction. Last month, the 45-year-old took to Instagram to reveal the title of the album, writing:
“In the beginning religion created a mask … for generations church was where we went to go hide …. rules without relationship is empty inside. … There’s room at the cross for everyone even me … religion is a prison, but truth sets us free. The preacher isn’t God, religion’s first mistake … I’m losing my religion, Thank God … Helping you lose yours is my job.”
On “Tom Joyner Morning Show”, the Gospel singer explains why he believes people should focus on their relationship with Christ more than anything else.
“Religion, throughout the years, has become a very oppressive thing that doesn’t allow people to get to know the God it was created to try to lead them to. So basically, it’s just like marriage cannot guarantee intimacy, religion doesn’t guarantee relationship,” the recording artist and songwriter said.

“It doesn’t guarantee you’re going to have a loving relationship with God. So God becomes this distant person that’s always pointing at my sins, always beating me up and you never know Him as a friend and as a father.”

On the contrary, Franklin made a point to speak about how much God loves people, despite their sins.
“We don’t have to try to be perfect. We’ll never be,” he said. “It’s really only one person that has lived the Christian life and that was Christ Himself.”
According to the songwriter and former choir director, people should not rely on man to determine their personal relationship with God.
“We think we need man and these systems to make us right with God and it’s not that. It’s when we accept His gift, we’re right. Right there and then, we’re right. We’re getting rid of the systems and all the rules, and the processes, and it’s like, let’s fall in love with the Father and see Him as a father that loves us, as flawed as we are.”

God Can Destroy America Over Gay Marriage, Former US Rep Speaks Up

Michele Bachmann is still vehemently opposed to same-sex marriage.

The former Minnesota rep, who once dismissed the fight for marriage equality as “boring,” blasted President Barack Obama’s “dangerous policies,” including those pertaining to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, in an “Understanding the Times with Janet Markell” interview last weekend.

“When we raise our fist to holy God and say that we are going to redefine marriage, we are going to be okay with paying a Planned Parenthood to cut up innocent baby parts and sell them for research, that clearly is a problem,” Bachmann said, according to Right Wing Watch. “As we have seen God render judgment in the days of Noah, in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and so forth throughout history, what the prophets have told every generation is that there is a just God and the people must repent and turn to him. So, too, in this day of wickedness in our own culture, we need to do the same.”

Self Acclaimed Living God In Kenya Killed By Mosquitoes

Self-proclaimed living god Jehovah Wanyonyi is dead, a local leader has confirmed, amid his followers’ prayers for his ‘resurrection’.

Wanyonyi, 98, died from malaria on July 18 on his way to Cherangany Nursing Home in Kitale town, Kipsomba chief Daniel Busienei told the Standard.

Busienei said the spiritual leader’s children sought a burial permit on July 19, adding that the hospital required it before releasing the body.

“I told my assistant chief to issue them with a permit to allow the deceased family to lay him to rest,” he said.

Assistant chief Paul Bett confirmed that he gave the family the burial permit a day after Wanyonyi’s death.
..

On Sunday, Wanyonyi’s followers, the Lost Israelites of Kenya, prayed for his return at his home in Nangili, Kakamega county.

Some of them said they have been fasting since they learnt that he had gone missing.

“We believe in him and we want him back on the throne as soon as possible,” follower Joyce Nakhanu said.

Wanyonyi has not been seen in public for more than six weeks and his family is also anxiously waiting for him.

Family spokesman Eliab Masinde said he has been hospitalised in Nairobi, where his sons are taking care of him.
..

..
Wanyonyi, who also has a following in Uganda, developed back problems four years ago.

He had been confined to a wheelchair at the home, where his followers say he has 70 wives, 500 children and more than 1,000 grandchildren.

Isnt life strange? How gullible can people get?

God or Allah have never fallen sick. They are supreme beings. They are mighty. They are powerful. Jehovah Wanyonyi? A mere Kenyan who used his jams to blindfold a few Kenyans to kneel and worship him.

A man who cannot perform a miracle. A man who was never satisfied with the number of women in his life. A man wants to enrich himself by siphoning everything from his myopic followers.

He even says that he brought HIV/AIDS to earth as a punishment to humanity for defying his commandments.

In his words:

“If the Kenyan Government does not give me 3 billion shillings ($3.8m) I will bring a curse on Kenyans,” he warned few months before he gave in to malaria.

Man Steals Money From Church Twice, Gets Caught The Third Time

A suspected church robber, Ehiosun Junior, has been arraigned before an Egor Chief Magistrate Court, over alleged attempt to steal the church offerings during its annual thanksgiving.

Testifying under cross examination at the resumed hearing of the case, the Pastor in charge of the church, Christ Apostolic Church, Rev. Igbinigie Anthony, said the alleged thief had broken into the church on 2 previous occasions and made away with N52, 000 cash.

The cleric told the court that he had a premonition that the thief would return to steal the thanksgiving collections, so he and the church’s Youth President, who was simply identified as Okoh, decided to sleep in the church that day.

He said

The first time the suspect broke into the church, he stole N40,000, but I asked the church to pray to God to forgive the thief.“On the 12th, they came back through the same place and stole N9,000 and other offering money. On the 23rd, 12 cans of malt were stolen.“After our thanksgiving on the 30th, I knew the thief will come back because we kept all the monies and items realized inside the church. At about 11:45 pm, I saw a shadow because we switched off all the lights in the church.“I pointed a torch at the person and he ran away towards the direction of the Youth President who caught him. The accused said he was the only one and we called the police who took him away to Okhoro Police Station,” Rev. Igbinigie told the court.

He told the court that they discovered that the accused was present at the church thanksgiving and was served food and drinks.

The suspect who was arraigned on a 4-count charge, pleaded not guilty.

The case has been adjourned to August 17 for further hearing.

“I Would Rather Burn In Hell Than Worship A Monster Called God” – Stephanie Rose

Nigerian transgender Stephanie Rose, is full of hatred for the Lord our God and is coming out again to insult him and call him a monster.

Stephanie, who was born a man named Dapo Adaralegbe, was expelled from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, where she was studying Law due to her homosexuality. She later underwent surgery to become a woman.

In her latest rant, she has taken to her Facebook page to share a post by an avowed atheist, Amenhotep Kingsagreed, where she thinks that God is the devil himself.

Follow the jump to see what she says about God and why she believes God is the devil as she quotes from the Bible. (This is one of those times you’ll see why our people say “even devil know Bible pass any man”). See her Biblical claims after the CUT:

“I’m amazed that people who claim to read and worship the words of the bible tend to be so ignorant about just what the bible says. I wonder how many of them know that god is quoted many times in the bible admitting that he is in fact evil. I will list those passages below.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
Joshua 23:15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things.
Judges 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit
1 Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
2 Samuel 12:11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house
1 Kings 9:9 …therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.
1 Kings 14:10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam
2 Kings 6:33 …Behold, this evil is of the LORD;
2 Kings 21:12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
2 Kings 22:16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place
Nehemiah 13:18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city?
Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people
Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them
Jeremiah 25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil
Jeremiah 35:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them:
Jeremiah 44:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah
Jeremiah 45:5 …behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD
Jeremiah 49:37 …I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them
Micah 1:12 …. evil came down from the LORD
Micah 2:3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil
So as you can see, Jehovah god admits that it is he that does all evil, not some “fallen angel” who gets the blame.
The reason Satan gets the blame is solely so that the Christians can convince themselves that it’s not god doing it. But if you claim that god is not capable of committing evil acts then you are “giving false witness” and committing “blasphemy” against god and his character.
Now I ask you, why do you feel that this “god” is deserving of worship? Even if you believe that he does exist, after all he has done and all he admits, why would you want to devote your life to him? Of all the men who have lived not one of them can come close to the evil that this god is. No one has caused as much death and destruction that this god claims to have done.
It’s funny, the relationship that people have with this god reminds me of battered wife syndrome. He’ll beat you into submission, threaten you with terrible punishments if you don’t comply, convince you that you deserve that horrible treatment because your bad deep inside, then tell you he only does it because he loves you. Actually it’s not funny after all. It’s pretty damn sad.
Which ‘other uncontrollable devil’ is humanity searching for when the creator and inventor of evil has declared itself? The position of evil can not be checked because the same God is the creator and inventor of all evil.
Evil started from the same hopeless and foolish God because such useless and senseless God is evil. They do not go to Heaven and they do not go to Hell fire, the same God is the exact devil that deceived all religions about an untrue Heaven and untrue Hell fire!
Hell fire is a fallacy of imagination. NO BODY GOES TO HELL FIRE.”

Rose also has a book she has written titled: “NO BODY GOES TO HEAVEN BECAUSE NO BODY GOES TO HELL FIRE”.

Two Senior Pastors Continue Their Bloody Fight Over Who Will Be General Superintendent

The shameless leadership tussle in the Assemblies of God Church is getting out of hand. Reports suggest that there would have been another bloodbath recently but for the timely intervention of the police.

Vanguard reports that factionalization of the church has resulted in crisis which has been brewing in the church as two senior Reverends, Professor Paul Emeka and Dr Chidi Okoroafor, have been at loggerheads, each laying claim to be the overall leader of the church, qualified to bear the designation General Superintendent, GS.

It was also gathered that the case has been taken to the court and is presently in the Supreme Court, awaiting the final arbitration but while awaiting the judgement, members of the 27 Mount Street Parish, Enugu engaged in free-for-all centering on the crisis over who takes control of the parish which is believed to be lucrative.

Reverend Nathaniel Udeze had reportedly stormed the Mount Street parish with letters of posting and other court documents empowering him to be installed as the new pastor of the parish that morning, but he was vehemently resisted along with his team of loyalists by the current Resident pastor of the parish, Reverend Amaechi Agbo who, along with his loyalists, accused Udeze of being an “intruder”.

This did not go down well with the visiting pastor, whose men allegedly swung into swift action as Udeze insisted on taking over since he had been officially posted there by the leadership of the church under Rev Paul Emeka.

It took the timely intervention of the police who raced to the place, to avert further crisis and the church was locked up.

This was not the first time members of the congregation would engage in such a show of shame It has already happened around March this year and also last year, hell was also let loose at the national headquarters of the church located in Enugu when the two warring factions engaged in a bloody clash that left no fewer than five persons seriously injured, while four cars parked at the premises were burnt beyond recognition during the free for all that ensued.

On how the party averted bloodshed during the fracas, the state police command’s image maker, Mr Ebere Amaraizu, said: “please let me correct one impression. We (Police) did not lock up any church. Ours is to ensure that there is no breakdown of law and order. What happened was that we intervened and averted what could have resulted to bloodshed.

“If  not for our timely intervention that Sunday, it could have been a different story. When efforts were made to bring the two factions to amicable settlement, which was not forthcoming, we gave our advice, so they locked it up and the keys are with them not with us (Police). But for now, we are monitoring the place to ensure that no unpleasant thing occurred there.”

This Pastor Says God Does Not Listen To Poor People

In a recent sermon he said :

“When one is rich and they have truly given their life to God they worship God truly. When one is poor they cannot worship God. It is in the mission of the devil to destroy people through poverty because he knows that when you are in poverty you will become a complaining machine instead of fulfilling your true purpose which is to worship God. The mammon god is the one responsible of controlling money. The mammon is the chief God of poverty. He directs the flow of cash. He ensures Christians are poor so that they will choose to be heathens. The mammon god also works in conjuction with marine spirits and ensures they take money to their kingdom.

When a demon of poverty attacks it does not attack an individual but it attacks the whole generation. You are not only poor alone but you are also poor for your children. It attacks the father, child and grandchildren. It uses four weapons, it uses the spirit of lack, pride, debt and lust.

When these four spirits attack you, you will not be able to separate them. These spirits make you live a lie. They make sure you start to believe your own lies. It blocks your eyes and it even leads into divorce and people believe they can do it on their own. When this spirit attacks you it makes you love the ones you are supposed to hate and makes you hate the ones you are supposed to love. When this spirit attacks you it ensures you never identify your blessor. No one succeed on their own you need people to succeed.

God Will Restore Nigeria’s Lost Glory- Osinbajo’s Mum

Olubisi Osinbajo, the mother of the Vice President-elect, Yemi Osinbajo, said on Wednesday that God had revealed to her that Nigeria’s lost glory would be restored.

Mrs Osinbajo, 80, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that God also revealed to her that the successful and positive change of government would guarantee peace and tranquility in the country.

She said; “I give God all the glory for the success of the elections. It came to me that God said He will restore Nigeria and everybody in the world will rejoice with Nigeria. Today, when I was praying, I saw this, do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. That is what God said to Nigeria. So, I don’t want to say anything than to thank God for what is happening in Nigeria now, because it is just too marvelous. So, we have nothing to say than to thank God.
