Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Joint Custody Agreement Approved By a Judge

Court documents obtained by ET reveal that the estranged couple’s legal agreement was approved on Dec. 2, and grants Jolie physical custody of their six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. Jolie and Pitt had previously agreed to the terms on Oct. 26.

Additionally, a team of five mental health professionals are helping the family with “safe harbor therapy.”

Meanwhile, Pitt will continue to have agreed-upon therapeutic visitations with the kids, as determined by the family’s therapist who “shall at all times consider the best interests of the minor children,” according to the documents. Pitt will also continue to participate in random drug and alcohol testing, as well as weekly individual and group therapy. The Jolie-Pitt children will also continue to participate in individual counseling.

“Originally, Pitt had volunteered to do the drug and alcohol testing himself,” a source tells ET. “But now that a judge has signed off on these docs, it has become mandatory and cannot be reversed without another court filing.”

The source also reveals, “Brad has not seen his children alone without a monitored therapist since the plane incident,” adding, “Angelina has not left the children’s side since the plane incident. She still has not completed her film [First They Killed My Father]. She has been with them the whole time trying to make sure they heal.”

As for if Pitt will see the children for the holidays, that remains unclear. “If a child says they don’t want to see Brad on Christmas, the psychiatrist isn’t going to force them,” the source says. “That’s the whole purpose of this agreement.”

A separate source tells ET that the legal custody agreement is voluntary and only temporary.

“It was agreed upon several months ago, which has continued,” the source says. The source also notes this agreement can be changed if Pitt decides to petition the court.

After looking into the aforementioned Sept. 14 plane incident, both the FBI and the Department of Child and Family Services closed their investigations into Pitt, clearing the 52-year-old actor of the child abuse accusations against him, and determining no charges would be filed.

“In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr. Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation,” the FBI said in a statement to ET in November. “No charges have been filed in this matter.”

Fani-Kayode ‘Slumps’ In EFCC Custody– Aide

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, slumped while in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Saturday, his aide has said.

Mr. Fani-Kayode was promptly revived by a team at the EFCC’s medical facility, the minister’s spokesperson, Jude Ndukwe, said in a statement Tuesday.

“But for the quick and professional intervention of the medical team in the EFCC medical facilities, the story could have been different, it could have been fatal!” he said.

“We must commend the medical staff at the Commission’s medical facility. They were prompt in their response, and very impressive in their care. It is very heartwarming to know that some professionals have not allowed the political witch hunt and persecution of political opponents and perceived enemies taint their professional calling. We hope this extends to all facets of the Nigerian society.”

Mr. Fani-Kayode, who served as the director of media and publicity for the Goodluck Jonathan presidential election campaign team in 2015, was arrested on Friday by the EFCC on allegations of corruption. He had earlier been released after being held for 67 days.

The outspoken former minister is currently standing trial for allegedly receiving illicit funds from former National Security Adviser.

He denies wrongdoing, and accuses the Buhari administration of targeting him as part of a wider campaign to silence opposition politicians.

Mr. Ndukwe said Mr. Fani-Kayode’s health condition had been communicated to the EFCC, and blasted the commission for re-arresting him.

Berlin Bomb Attack Plan Suspect Commits Suicide In Custody

A Syrian refugee suspected of planning a bomb attack “with Islamist motives” on a Berlin airport has strangled himself to death with his shirt in detention, Saxony state justice officials said Thursday.

Investigators believe that 22-year-old Albakr, who arrived in Germany last year, was close to staging a terrorist attack. German police have said that Albakr’s “approach and behavior” suggest an ISIS link.

“On the evening of October the 12th, 2016, Jaber Albakr, the prime suspect in planning a serious attack against the state, took his life in the prison hospital of the Leipzig correctional facility,” the ministry said in a statement on its website, also confirming the news to CNN.
The Saxony Justice Minister Sebastian Gemkow told reporters that Albakr had strangled himself with his shirt but it was not immediately clear if he had hanged himself in his cell.
Gemkow said Albakr had been seen by a psychologist earlier in the day, but it was assessed that suicide was unlikely.
Authorities then decided to reduce its checks on him from every 30 minutes to every 15.
Albakr was on a hunger strike and refused to drink, Gemkow said, adding that authorities tried to resuscitate him for about half an hour after they found his body.

Guy Ritchie & Madonna Finally Settle Bitter Custody Battle Over Son Rocco

Guy Ritchie and Madonna have settled their bitter custody battle over where their son Rocco should live. The custody disagreement began in December 2015 during a falling out between Rocco and his musician mother when he abandoned her Rebel Hearts tour, heading to London to live with his father and his wife Jacqui and refused to return to America to start the school term in January.

This triggered a legal battle between his parents, especially when the teenager ignored a court order to fly back from Ritchie’s London home to live with Madonna in New York. They have fought constantly over child-rearing issues as Madonna was the disciplinarian and felt Guy was way too permissive.

The 47-year-old director has now reached a settlement with the pop star, 58, hours before they were due in court in New York on Wednesday. Although the terms of their agreement remain confidential, it was revealed that Rocco will be schooled in London, with regular visits from his mother, whom he reconciled with some months ago.
Speaking outside the court Guy’s lawyer, Peter Bronstein, said that the 16-year-old-year-old would continue to live with his father in London. Everyone’s agreed to that and there’s no further need for any kind of a court case.’
A Court spokesman confirmed Madonna and Guy reached a settlement. Madonna’s attorney however declined to comment on the matter.

Zakzaky Not In Army’s Custody– Buratai

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai , said on Thursday that the arrested Shi’ite sect leader, Sheikh Ibrahim ElZak-Zaky, is no longer in the custody of the Army. Buratai said this when he met with a delegation from the Nigerian Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) at the Army Headquarters, Abuja. The Army chief, who was responding to the request by NSCIA to meet with the sect leader, said that El-Zak-Zaky had been handed over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution. According to Buratai, lawlessness must not be tolerated in the society especially when a part of the country is confronted with terrorism.

“As a responsible and law abiding organization, we will do all that we can to always safeguard lives and property. “As for the whereabouts of the Shi’ite leader, he is not in our custody; he has been handed over to the appropriate authorities for prosecution because we don’t prosecute. “What happened was avoidable and unfortunate, we followed the rules of engagement as enshrined in the constitution but what happened still happened,” he said. Buratai dismissed claims in some quarters that the Army was after members of the sect. He said that the army was only carrying out its constitutional duties.

He urged members of the public to disregard information and pictures contained in a section of the media, describing them as a false reflection of what happened. Earlier in his remark, the leader of the NSCIA, Prof. Daud Noibi, said the group was at the Army headquarters on a factfinding mission. Noibi expressed the concerns of NSCIA on the Zaria incident and reaffirmed the commitment of the council to return peace to the area.

Teenager In Police Custody Caught Having Sex With 52 Men As Initiation Ritual

A 16-year-old secondary school dropout, Ifechukwu Atunanya, has been arrested by policemen from the Anambra State Police Command while allegedly having sex with over 52 young men inside a bush in what looked like an initiation ceremony.

According to reports, the suspects were all rounded up in the bush in Awka and are reportedly members of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity, during the initiation of new members.

Ifechukwu, on her arrest, claimed she was forced to sleep with every male member of the cult during her initiation.

According to the state Commissioner of Police, Hosea Karma, the police acted on an intelligence tip-off that the cult members and their new entrants were in a bush performing some rituals, explaining that some items including guns, machetes and several wraps of Indian hemp, were recovered from them.

On apprehension, the Police said the suspects confirmed that as part of their ritual, every male member of the cult will sleep with every prospective female member.

“This they did in order to secure their oath of secrecy and it was during the raid we arrested ifechukwu,” Hosea stated.

At the police station, Ifechukwu claimed that she had to travel to Anambra from Abuja just to witness the initiation of new members.

In her statement, she said:

“I joined them three months ago and during my initiation; I was forced to have sex with every registered male member of the cult present that night. I was given sedatives so as not to feel what they were doing. It was not easy, but I bore the pain,” she said.

“The day we were initiated, I was the only girl in their midst. I was determined to be a successful member. I was further convinced to stay because I discovered that they were more honorable men than the other cult groups.

“I am sorry for myself and would love to be given the opportunity to go back to school,” she sobbed.

She went further to say she never knew that it was crime to be a cult member.

“I am so sorry,” Ifechukwu begged.
