So it was refreshing to see little North, aged one, in pink for a change when Kim Kardashian took her daughter to a ballet class at Miss Melodee Studios in Tarzana, California on Thursday morning.

Also with the 34-year-old mother – who was dressed for the gym in black workout gear – was husband Kanye West. Sister Kourtney, who brought daughter Penelope and new son Reign, came later.

But alas, if only the mass public realized how much work goes into presenting that image, especially with A-list stars like Beyonce. Beyonce looks flawless in all her promotional materials, there’s no denying that. But that image is the result of great photoshop, a wig, and professional makeup. In other words, if you had the money that Beyonce had, you too could look like that!

Of course, Beyonce’s currently losing her mind because nearly 200 unretouched photos from Beyonce’s 2013 L’Oreal Campaign have leaked on a fan site called The Beyonce World. And these pictures? They are not pretty. Like, at all.
