Reports staged immediately after General Buhari’s victory regarding his alleged statement of imposing sharia across Nigeria has been debunked and said to be completely untrue.

The portion posted by a tweep carrying the false statement has been said to be a propaganda material that has been lingering to discredit the reputation of General Buhari. The tweet featured an old newspaper that contained the propaganda, which eventually circulated and is being used to taunt the victory General Buhari had already secured in the APC presidential primaries.
