NFF Chiefs Dikko, Abubakar Not Wanted – Police

He assured the LMC helmsmen that the IGP places the great premium on his officers and men being law-abiding and that his Command will be guided by this position and refrain from interfering with this case and the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal.

The FCT Police boss further directed the DCP Operations to beef up security within the LMC offices and around the person of the LMC Chairman to ensure the safety of all.

Dikko expressed LMC’s appreciation to the IGP Ibrahim Idris for instilling in his officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force the positive quality of being law-abiding law enforcement officers, which he said will contribute in great measure to the maintenance of public peace and order in our country and endear the IGP and the police to all Nigerians.

Commenting at the sidelines of the meeting, Dikko described the Jos High Court order against his person and Abubakar as oppressive and unjustifiable.

He argued that the Court made the order of committal for contempt of court order without any application whatsoever filed before it for that purpose and, despite the fact that the same court had previously adjourned the suit sine die or indefinitely pending the hearing of the appeal of LMC against the ex parte order of the Court directing that Giwa FC be reinstated to the League, three months after the Club’s expulsion.

He continued by pointing out that the injustice of the ruling was compounded by the fact that a false affidavit of service of Forms 48 and 49 was procured.

He insisted that the order of committal for contempt was made in the circumstances he has described in order to intimidate the LMC from pursuing the appeal at the Court of Appeal so that the many injustices committed in the handling of the case will not be exposed.

Dikko said further steps has been taken in addition to the appeal filed by LMC to report the questionable judicial conduct of the Judge of the Jos High Court to the National Judicial Council, while the matter of the false affidavit of service procured by the Jos High Court bailiffs has been reported to the Chief Justice of Plateau State.

The LMC has also filed another petition to the Chief Justice of Plateau State reporting the Abuja Airport incidence, which was all as a result of the unfair court orders issued under his jurisdiction, which is now being used to mischievously mislead the Police, despite the pendency of the appeal.

He urged all Nigerians to see this case as a grand design and conspiracy to cause unnecessary confusion in the minds of the public and derail the impressive and positive developments in the league in Nigeria under LMC.

He reminded all that the Jos High Court made its orders to ground the Nigeria League at the request of a single individual, the plaintiff in the suit, who claims to be a supporter of Giwa FC.

He further wondered: “How can football be properly organized and played if the millions of football fans in Nigeria were similarly to secure such far-reaching orders from the Courts all over Nigeria regarding the different Clubs they support or follow.

“In that case, for instance, an individual with the flimsiest of reason could have obtained a court order to stop Rangers International FC from playing and winning the League title and the government and people of Enugu State from experiencing and celebrating the victory of their team after 32 long years of patiently planning and toiling to lift the League trophy. This would be the biggest tragedy in football development in Nigeria for which all stakeholders should be outraged and stand up to collectively defend the integrity of the game we all support.”

Dikko went on to assure football loving Nigerians that neither the LMC nor its officials have broken any Law as they only acted to defend and preserve the integrity of the public trust (NPFL) they are privileged to be managing and ensure its stability and growth within the Laws.

He concluded by declaring: “LMC will continue to follow all the right legal steps to respond to any orchestrated attack on the LMC, NPFL, the participating clubs and its officers and, we will never be distracted.”

PDP Deceived Nigerians by Borrowing to Fund Stealing – Garba Shehu

Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, says the Federal Government is determined to enforce fiscal discipline across the states, to check wasteful spending.

Shehu, in a statement issued in Abuja yesterday, said the Federal Government was not limiting its economic and financial reform programmes to the centre alone.

He said that the Federal Government would force the state governments to reform their spending and build savings and investments.

The Presidential aide was reacting to the current economic and financial challenges facing the country. He said the reform would include blockage of leakages that allowed government’s revenues to be siphoned into private hands.

He said that the ongoing probe into the finances of the military authorities was part of the reform aimed at checking corrupt practices in the military establishment.

According to the Presidential aide, government is also increasing spending on capital projects, especially on infrastructure needed to make Nigerian businesses competitive and create jobs.

“Currently, there is focus on key sectors (apart from oil) that can create jobs and or generate revenue such as Agriculture, Solid Minerals and Manufacturing.’’

He said that if these things had been done when the oil price was as high as 140 dollars per barrel, Nigeria would not be in the current predicament.

“We would not be suffering now if we had no cash reserves, but we had regular supply of power, a good rail system, good roads and good housing.

“Now that the oil has fallen as low as 28 dollars per barrel, it is very difficult to do what is needed but they must be done to save Nigeria.

“There is no other way if we want to be honest.

“If PDP were still in power they would have continued deceiving people, by borrowing to fund stealing and wastage and the problem would have simply been postponed for future generations to face. The truth of the matter is that the previous administration only had one issue, which was how to spend money (oil revenues and borrowed money).’’

He said that the spending was focused on “the wrong things and even though the economy seemed to be growing it was not sustainable as described by Minister Adeosun.

$200bn Stolen Money Stashed In Dubai – Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani (APC, Kaduna Central Zone) has alleged that corrupt Nigerians have in the last 16 years stashed $200 billion in Dubai. Sen. Sani said this while speaking with newsmen in Kaduna.

“Corrupt Nigerians have stashed unbelievable amount of monies in Dubai alone in the name of estates acquisition, purchase of exotic houses and business partnership in the last 16 years. Some have stashed raw cash.
This is why the US, and Europe are making conditions for laundering of money into their countries very difficult. These crooks have now found it conducive to use the Middle East and South East Asia as their destinations. They use names of their cronies, family
members and friends to siphon public funds out of Nigeria. Some of them are APC members, who had their political upbringing in the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Sooner than later those who are parading themselves as Buhari’s friends, but are corrupt, will be interrogated, prosecuted because the President does not know friend or relation as far as the fight against corruption is concerned. It was based on the information on the quantity and quality of the assets of corrupt Nigerians, that President Buhari had to sign that agreement with UAE at Abu Dhabi. I can tell you that it was smart and patriotic move. Let me advise the President to steer clear of hypocrites, because it is better to live with an enemy than hypocrite because hypocrite derives joy from stabbing one’s back. Over $200 billion Dollars are stashed away from Nigeria to Dubai alone. This may the monies stolen since in the past 20 years. I am not talking about estates and bonds and other securities bought with Nigeria stolen money. Buhari is going to recover all these monies and assets with the help of UAE. If you notice now, since the agreement, some of the corrupt persons are now rushing to Dubai to effect changes in the ownerships of the ill-gotten assets. But, they are just wasting their time. President Buhari needs the support of all Nigerians to wipe out corruption from the country. The President is on rescue mission. He needs our support. We cannot sit down idly and watch people sabotaged Buhari, and I can tell you that since Buhari went to Dubai, there were three attempts to sabotage Buhari’s government. The first one was that they planted a story in newspapers that there was crisis in Buhari’s government because he went to Dubai; The second one was that they planted fake lists of Nigerians that have property in Dubai, while we were waiting for the original list of those who have houses in Dubai. And the third one was to sponsor foreign media to discredit Buhari’s economic policies” he said.

Pres. Buhari’s Schedule Shocks Aso Rock Staff And Will Probably Shock You As Well

A new report has surfaced on abusidiqu.com which reveals the daily routine of President Muhammadu Buhari as he presides over the affairs of Nigeria from the presidential villa in Aso Rock.

According to the report, the president lives an austere life. The president works from 7am into the wee hours of the night, but still makes out time for his five daily prayers as a devout Muslim.

Continue to see his full schedule below:

Mr. President then consults with few underground advisers and aides in one of the guest houses in the villa on a daily basis to weigh his options in his policy decisions.

Speaking about the tight schedule of Buhari, Mallam Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant on media to the president said: “Maybe because of his military background, the President wakes up early and he is an avid listener to radio stations. Before he reports for work by 7am, he must have listened to all the talk shows on radio and you will be amazed how he picks you up on some national issues discussed on radio. Most times, he starts his day by 6am.”

He continued saying: “The President works from the early hours of the day till 1am and 2am. In fact, there was a time the team around him had a meeting and expressed worries that the President was having only three hours of sleep. They therefore redesigned his schedule by saying no more appointment by 9pm. The new policy did not last more than one week. After that, the President worked till 1am.”

Responding to a question on the issue, Shehu said: “I think it has to do with his military training because it got to a point that one of the youngest staff working with the President could not cope with his schedule.”
