Mary J. Blige Asks Judge’ To Rule Prenup With Ex Husband As Valid’

Singer Mary J. Blige is determined to make her estranged husband abide by a prenuptial agreement she insists is solid. The 45-year-old filed for divorce from Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs in July citing irreconcilable differences after 12 years of marriage.

Now, according to TMZ, she’s asking a judge to rule that the prenup that sets out what each takes away from the marriage is valid.

The gossip website reports that Blige is concerned that an attorney for Isaacs, who is also her manager, has apparently suggested that the agreement is ‘immensely invalid, unenforceable and
unconscionable.’

In her divorce filing, she also asked the judge not to grant Isaacs any spousal support.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Prenup Details Revealed; Custody Battle May Get Messy

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie signed an ‘ironclad’ prenup before tying the knot in 2014. Its details have just been revealed as well as the fact that the real battle between Brad and Angelina will be over the custody of their children.

According to TMZ, Brad and Jolie signed a prenuptial agreement that outlines exactly who gets what before they wed back in 2014.

Their combined fortune is a reported $400 million. Brad & Jolie have 12 total properties together all of which they acquired either before they were married or before they were even dating.

7 of those properties belong to Brad, 2 to Angie and 3 which they bought together prior to tying the

knot in 2014.

The properties they bought together include a vineyard in France, a mansion in New Orleans, and an apartment in New York – and the pair’s prenup outlines exactly who gets what property.

Rather than properties being an issue in the divorce, TMZ reports that custody of their kids will be where the war really plays out. Brad plans on fighting for joint physical custody of their children while Jolie is kicking against it.

Brad and Angelina are parents to six kids – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, ten, Knox, eight, and Vivienne, eight.

Gabrielle Union Explains Why She Asked for a Prenup from Dwyane Wade

Last year, Gabrielle Union said that she planned to ask her then-fiancé, Dwyane Wade, for a prenup. They wed last summer, and now, the actress is explaining why she demanded the paperwork.

“For women in Hollywood, when they’re coupling, everything is about the brand. Everything is about latching on to a rising star, so you can kick your heels up. That’s never been my story, ever,” she told Yahoo Style. “I make sure to let people know all of the hard work that’s gone into my career.”

Union, 42, said that prior to meeting Wade in 2007, she was busy working to pay off her student loans from her time at UCLA. Living below her means has always been important to her.

“Now that it’s time to get married to a man who happens to play basketball and has done well for himself, I want to make it clear that I have in no way hitched my wagon to his star,” she said. “I have my own wagon and star.”
