Virtual Nigeria, the only Red Hat- certified examiner in West Africa is set to empower over 200 youths with scholarships worth 3500 dollars each. The lead training consultant for the firm, Mr Adedayo Adesanya, disclosed this while announcing the company’s ICT conference titled ‘Reboot 2016’. He said that the attendees to the conference will be the beneficiaries of this largess.
He added that his organization was committed to organizing the ‘Reboot 2016’ so as to ensure that Nigerians understand the relevance of IT to the future, especially in terms of Job creation. Underscoring its relevance across all professions, he said ICT has found use in medicine, banking sector, military and entertainment amongst others.
He urged Nigerians to move with the times so that they would not be left behind. “This conference will open the eyes of Nigerians to the immense opportunity there is” he concluded.
The event is billed to feature big speakers, like the Dean of London Business School; Dr Esan, Dr Segun Adekunle; a Soft Ware Architect, Timi Dakolo and lots more. The key note speaker is the Special Adviser to the Presidency on Job Creation, Afolabi Imokede.
‘Reboot 2016’ will hold on Dec 14th 2016 at the Teslim Balogun stadium hall and it is open to all for free.
