No fewer than 800 police officers were deployed to provide security for the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, during the Peoples Democratic Party North-West rally for women on Wednesday.
Aside the 800 policemen, other heavily armed security operatives, such as soldiers, DSS, were stationed at strategic locations leading to the venue of the PDP women rally.
Despite the presence of the security men, Mrs. Jonathan failed to show up at the rally, which held at the Kaduna Township Stadium.
