A youth group in Rivers State, Rivers Young Entrepreneurs Forum, RYEF has endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term in office and Prince Tonye Princewill as governor of Rivers State.

The forum said in a press statement released yesterday and signed by its president, Amb. Rex David, that members of the group as patriotic citizens decided to participate fully in politics, and having consulted widely, decided to endorse President Jonathan for a second term in office and Prince Tonye Princewill as governor of Rivers State.

The statement issued by the youth group reads: “We have consulted widely and decided to endorse President Jonathan for a second term as president in 2015. We have also taken keen interest in Rivers State due to the dynamic nature of politics in the state, vis-a-vis the quest to avoid youth restiveness, which might build up if the wrong candidate is projected to run. We have however decided to endorse Prince Tonye Princewill as Governor of Rivers State in 2015. We also want to suggest the nomination of Prof. Don Baridam, who is one of the most resourceful Ogoni sons, as Running Mate to Prince Tonye Princewill”.
