Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun yesterday said the state is yet to receive financial support to check the spread of the Ebola virus.
The governor said this at Ilara in Imeko -Afon council area, a border town with Benin Republic.
He maintained that all hands must be on deck to check the Ebola virus.
“When you have a national emergency, that is not the time to apportion blames. Instead, this is challenge we must all agree to tackle. As I speak, since the outbreak of Ebola, we are yet to get a dime from the federal government, but we will do our best”, he said.
The governor confirmed that public and private schools in the state would resume as scheduled on September 22, adding that his government would put measures in place to check the porous border points in the council area.
