#OLIC3: “Why we didn’t cover Olamide’s concert” – HipTV

The Olamide-In-Concert was a huge success as artistes thrilled teeming fans into the late night.

However, there have been speculations making the rounds about a possible feud between the management of HipTV and indigenous rapper, Olamide after the mild drama that ensued at the 2015 Headies Awards. Note also that Olamide and his YBNL crew were conspicuously absent as there was widespread boycott from lots of artistes at the 2016 version of the Headies.

The HipTV management recently released a statement to clarify issues arising as a result of their non-coverage of the latest musical concert Olamide organized.

According to a statement they just released:

@baddosneh (Olamide) not attending #theheadies2016 had nothing to do with HipTv not covering OLIC3.

The organizers did not want the event live on TV. Unlike the last two, HipTv was not responsible for the production and this has nothing to do with our relationship with YBNL.

We are cool, as a matter of fact, we were in attendance.
