Habib Akewusola: Parables #Poem

Parables

Photo made in sessions,
Memorized drama,
Smiling to my smiling
Static grandma.
Woman own any
grown man.

Love last no long anymore
Look before you see,

Language makes a secret.
Numbers will always win

Gallant cop a repentant  thief,
Better was previously
A Victim.

Wanderer,
Freedom is to wonder,
Vengeance for failure
Paved pathway into paradise.

Lonely mind at task
In books do I ask,
Faith secretly fights
Back.

Within silence, my soul
Makes the loudest noice.
Truth is inside your
Shoe.

Emergency
Betrayer is democracy,
Sodomy nailed for hell boy.

Well preserved shell,
In centuries she may never bend.
So shall character blend.

APC Govs Never Asked For Oyegun’s Resignation – Dep. National Chairman

At no time did governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ask the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun to resign his position, Deputy National Chairman, North, of the party Senator Lawan Shuaibu, has said.

Some national dailies had reported yesterday that eight governors of the party had demanded the resignation of Mr. Oyegun over the lingering leadership crisis rocking the National Assembly.

The governors, who purportedly asked for the national chairman’s resignation, included Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Abubakar Sani Bello (Niger), Senator Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), Adams Oshiomhole (Edo), and Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa).

But Shuaibu, in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service monitored in Abuja yesterday, said there was no such thing.

“I don’t know who asked the national chairman to resign, because the governors that visited him declared their support on the party’s position about the leadership of the National Assembly”, Shuaibu said.
