Winfrey, 62, says. “Because I know this for sure: With age comes the understanding and appreciation of your most important asset, your health.”It’s all part of her new-found approach to losing weight.

Oprah Winfrey Made $12 Million From One Tweet About Bread
“I lost 26 pounds, and I have eaten bread every single day,” she said in her testimonial clip.
An hour after O sent her story into the Twitterverse, Weight Watchers shares climbed slightly over $2 a share, and since Winfrey owns roughly 6 million shares, the surge in share prices made the celeb $12 million just like that.

Stripper Attacks Man After He Tells Her To Lose Weight
A South Carolina stripper attacked a man after he didn’t want her to take off her clothes — he wanted her to lose weight.
The Derrieres Gentlemen’s Club stripper had heard enough out of Kyle Yeoman, 23, after he told her, “go to the gym and lose weight” early Sunday morning, according to documents obtained by The Smoking Gun.
After he gave some dumbbell advice, she lunged off the stage and punched him in the face four times, causing visible injuries from the ring on her fists, the thin-minded strip club patron told Myrtle Beach police. A bouncer then dragged him out the club and roughed him up as well, according to the police
report.
Yeoman told police he had harassed the stripper about her weight because she was annoying him.
“She kept trying to talk to him and he was tired of it,” the police report read.
He also blamed the insults on the alcohol, telling police he was at “an 11 out of 10” level of drunk.
The strip club victim waited about 17 hours after to call cops, but stressed that he did not want to press charges and only sought a police report. He identified the girl as a white woman, weighing 115-120 pounds with “a muffin top.”
A friend who was a witness at the strip club said he saw Yeoman getting clobbered by the stripper, but did not hear the weight comment being made.
Cops tried getting the stripper’s side of the story, but found that the gentlemen’s club was closed. The strip club could not be reached for comment.
Best Foods For Weight Loss & Quick Results
Listed below are a few of the best food categories to promote healthy digestive health. They each have helpful functions to cleanse your body of harmful toxins and promote overall wellness:
1. Foods that are Rich in Fiber
You are probably going to notice one recurring theme throughout this article. That theme is the use of healthy dietary fiber. This is an important dietary staple to focus on since our current diets tend to lack the right amounts of fiber for healthy digestion. It is recommended that you try to get in between 25 to 35 grams of healthy fiber each day for optimal results. Supplements like psyllium husk are convenient ways for people to get the right amount due to their concentrated form. You can get them in powder or pill form and easily fit fiber into your nutritional regime.
2. Raw Fruit and Veggies
Plenty of people are surprised to find that the answer to their digestive problems is found naturally around them. You don’t have to go to the store to find some form of medical treatment when most types of fruit and veggies provide the same results. They are high in dietary fiber and contain other health boosting compounds like antioxidants and essential vitamins and minerals. Studies show that green veggies that are rich in chlorophyll are especially effective in protecting the digestive track. Read also my article how to detoxify your body using chlorophyll.
3. Probiotics and Fermented Foods
One of the more surprising ways to cleanse your colon is through the use of healthy bacteria. I know, when you hear the term bacteria it usually isn’t associated with health benefits, but there are many types of it that are actually quite good for you. They contain soluble fibers like inulin which aid in eliminating the build up of toxins in your colon. Foods like yogurt and sauerkraut as well as fermented drinks like kefir and kombucha are usually rich in these types of bacteria. You can find here 9 reasons to take probiotics and why its so good for you as well as the top 10 fermented foods for your health.
4. Water
A common issue amongst people with colon problems is dehydration. Incorporating more liquids into your daily routine is key in achieving a cleaner colon and more proper digestion. It lubricates the digested food and provides it with the right hydration to break it down. Water and fruit/veggies juices are good options, as well as herbal teas, but you should avoid drinks that contain caffeine and alcohol since they promote dehydration.
5. Garlic
Believe it or not, garlic isn’t only useful for warding off vampires and adding flair to your favorite recipes. It is also great for stimulating the production of enzymes in your liver. This plays a big part in detoxing your body from toxins. Not to mention it is an easy and delicious way to incorporate colon health into your diet! Garlic is a true superfood and you can read more about it in my article how to use garlic as a medicine.
6. Legumes
Legumes are great for digestive health in multiple ways. They are rich in fiber and other essential minerals like iron and potassium. Some even contain healthy fats which help suppress appetite. The most common forms of legumes are peas, beans, and lentils.
7. Omega 3s
The average diet in our society doesn’t contain nearly enough of this healthy powerhouse. Omega 3 oils contribute to various healthy functions in the body. Their primary use in colon cleansing is lubricating and attaching toxins to be flushed from your digestive system. Foods like fish, nuts, flaxseed and healthy cooking oils are all rich in the omegas your body craves. Read here more about the amazing health benefits of omega 3 fish oil.
8. Whole Grains
As mentioned earlier, our current dietary habits is the leading cause in the demise of our digestive health. Simple carbs from grains like white bread provide us with hardly any benefits, yet they are cheaper and more available for us. If you choose whole grains like the ones found in brown rice and whole grain breads it will help you cleanse out your colon. They are high in fibers that allow stool to pass freely through your digestive track.
As you can see, there is a strong link between proper nutrition and healthy colon and digestive system. I know it doesn’t come as a surprise to you, but if you concentrate in consuming more of the above foods into your daily diet, you will see the difference. Start to make the necessary nutritional changes now.

Shocking Discovery: Foods That Helps You Lose Weight
Potatoes
“Many people still think that because potatoes have a high glycemic index they will induce cravings and weight gain, but research shows this isn’t the case,” says Joy Dubost, PhD, RD, spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In fact, potatoes ranked number one on the famous satiety index, which was published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 1995. During the low-carb years, they fell out of favor, but lately there’s been a renewed interest in studying their effect on diet and weight loss. After all, even though a potato is carb-heavy, it is a vegetable—one medium spud contains 168 calories with 5 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber. Some experts argue that they are particularly satisfying because of they contain resistant starch—complex starch molecules that we can’t digest.
Apples and Pears
With a satisfying crunch—or in the case of certain softer varieties, a sweet, juicy bite—pears provide a lot of bang for your buck (the dollar kind and nutritional kind). For less than $1 and around 100 calories, you get between 4 and 6 grams of appetite-suppressing fiber, plus lots of antioxidants. A recent study from Washington State University suggests that Granny Smiths are the most beneficial for our gut bacteria due to their high content of non-digestible compounds, including dietary fiber. Researchers believe that re-establishing a healthy balance of bacteria in the colon stabilizes metabolic processes, helping to increase satiety and reduce inflammation, which has been associated with chronic health problems like heart disease and diabetes.
Almonds
If you’re looking for the perfect on-the-go snack, almonds might just be it. Several recent studies have found that snacking on them helps you stay satiated throughout the day, and eat less at meals. A small handful is the ideal portion size (about 1 ounce, or 22 almonds)—for 160 calories, you get a healthy dose of monounsaturated fat, 3 grams of fiber, and 6 grams of protein. Bonus: they’re loaded with vitamin E, which is essential for healthy hair, skin, and nails.
Lemons
Add the juice and pulp of this citrus fruit to pump up the flavor of everything from your ice water to salads, smoothies, and cooked fish, for almost no calories, recommends Koff. In addition to making the food taste better, the pectin fiber in this citrus fruit may help you fight off hunger cravings. “Lemons are also an alkaline-forming food that helps promote an optimal pH in the intestines,” she explains, which some say can help with digestion and aid in weight loss, though these claims have not yet been proven with scientific research.
Greek yogurt
Dubost recommends dairy foods of all types to her clients, but especially higher protein options like Greek yogurt and cottage cheese. The satiating effects of yogurt are especially well researched. In one study published last year in the journal Appetite, participants were given a 160-calorie yogurt snack three hours after lunch that contained either low protein, moderate protein, or high protein. Those who ate the high-protein yogurt (a Greek yogurt containing 24 grams of protein) felt full the longest, and ate dinner later than the other subjects. Some studies also suggest that the acids produced during yogurt fermentation increase satiety.
Eggs
Two large hard boiled eggs only set you back 140 calories and provide 12 grams of complete protein, which means it contains all 9 essential amino acids that your body needs but can’t make itself, says Dubost (all animal proteins offer a “complete” amino acid profile). A study published in the journal Nutrition Research found that eating eggs at breakfast helped dieters feel less hungry for a full 24 hours, while also stabilizing their blood sugar levels and helping them eat fewer calories over the course of the day.
Lean beef
Lean cuts of beef such as sirloin, tenderloin, and top round are high in protein and offer a complete amino acid profile, which make them extremely satiating. A healthy 4-ounce portion of as sirloin steak contains 200 calories and 32 grams of protein. Just don’t go overboard—even lean cuts of red meat are relatively high in saturated fat, and eating a lot of it has been associated with heart disease, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. Limit yourself to one serving a week.
Hot oatmeal
When your mom told you to eat your oats, she was right. Just make sure they’re cooked. One recent study published in Nutrition Journal found that calorie-for-calorie, oatmeal cooked with nonfat milk was more satisfying than oat-based cold cereal with nonfat milk. Participants who ate about 220 calories of the hot kind for breakfast reported less hunger and increased fullness compared to the cereal eaters—possibly because satiety is enhanced by the higher viscosity of the beta-glucan in the cooked oatmeal. Another new study suggests that its resistant starch may boost beneficial gut bacteria, which—according to mounting evidence—keep the good mood brain chemicals flowing.
Avocado
Just thinking about rich, creamy avocado is satisfying. Yes, it’s high in fat—but the good kind. Its plant-based fatty acids have anti-inflammatory benefits, which can help ease arthritis and lower risk of heart disease. Plus, half an avocado packs 7 grams of fiber. In a study published in Nutrition Journal, researchers found that adding half an avocado to lunch increased subjects’ satisfaction by 26% and reduced their desire to eat by 40% for 3 hours. Like olive oil, it increases absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, making diced avocado the perfect way to ensure your salad is delicious, filling, and fully utilized by your bod.
Fish
Fish is another very efficient source of protein. Many types of white fish are extremely lean, and fattier varieties such as salmon pack healthy omega-3 fats. Some studies suggest that fish protein may be slightly more satiating than beef protein, but more research is needed to explain why. One possible explanation is that fish are naturally high in the amino acid L-glutamate, which is associated with umami, a savory-rich taste linked to satiety.
Popcorn
Did you know popcorn is a whole grain? Yep. Four cups contain 3 grams of fiber and protein each. But its biggest trick is volume. Four cups takes up a lot of room in your stomach and as long as you eat it with only a little salt and tiny bit of oil, that size serving will set you back less than 150 calories. One study found that snacking on popcorn helped dieters satisfy their hunger while staying on track with their weight-loss plan.

Rick Ross Speaks on Weight Loss & Exercise, Drinks Less Alcohol…
Rick Ross had two seizures in a single day, sending him to the hospital three years ago.
Health didn’t concern the 300-pound rapper then, but he’s shed nearly 100 pounds in the last seven months by eating healthier foods and embracing a high-intensity workout plan. Ross, 37 has given up a few things since changing his lifestyle.
First, the rapper stopped drinking soda, unless it’s diet. He also said it’s better to eat heavier meals earlier in the day. As a result, he said he’s able to burn calories faster. “I used to eat big meals at 2 a.m. and base it on my schedule,” he said. “But I don’t do that no more.”
Ross said you should drink water throughout the day. He also said to treat yourself when you work hard. “I just went to Prime 112 (in Miami) the other night, and I had some fried Oreos and fried velvet cake,” he said. “I treated myself. You wake up in the morning, you might regret it. But you got to get back to work.”
Ross credits a CrossFit program introduced to him by Reebok last year — calling it “Ross Fit” — with helping him lose weight. It’s a highly active workout plan where Ross completes a series of exercises within a 20-minute span, including pushups, sit-ups, boxing, squat jumps and Olympic-style weightlifting.
“CrossFit overall is more of an intense workout,” he said. “So instead of doing 20 minutes on the treadmill, you’ll (do) a 20-minute CrossFit workout and you’ll be not only building your endurance, but also muscle simultaneously.” Ross said the number of people who work out with him has grown from four to 20, including hitmaker DJ Khaled and producer E Class. Enduring a tough workout isn’t foreign to Ross, who played offensive line at Albany State University in Georgia.
Ross stopped eating certain foods such as bread, white rice and fish fillets, and began drinking less alcohol. But he hasn’t eliminated one of his favorite foods: lemon pepper wings.
The rapper, who owns nine Wingstop franchises around the country, said he stops by the restaurant at least twice a week when he’s in town. He’s trying to keep a good balance, though, by eating foods like Branzino and fruits such as pears. “I’m not under no stress of what I’m eating,” he said. “There are no restrictions. I’m not trying to make a particular weight. I’m just working out and doing what’s best for Rozay.”
