Soldiers drafted to restore peace to warring Ogun, Ondo communities

Soldiers have been drafted to quell a violent conflict between two communities in Ogun and Ondo states.

 

PREMIUM TIMES reported how violence erupted between Makun-Omi and Ajijere communities in Ogun and Ondo States respectively.

 

The two communities fought over the ownership of a boundary village, Limorisa, between them.

 

The soldiers were deployed after a security council meeting in Ogun State.

 

Residents said calm is gradually returning to the affected areas.
