Watch Lady Gaga Take The Wheel For Some Pitch Perfect Carpool Karaoke
Lady Gaga has one of the most incredible voices of this — or any — generation, and her infinite talent was on full display during Carpool Karaoke on Tuesday night. Singing everything from “Bad Romance” to “Poker Face” to “Perfect Illusion,” Gaga totally slayed the popular The Late Late Show With James Corden segment.
In fact, I’d argue her 15-minute clip is one of the best yet. Not only does Lady Gaga totally sing her heart out in the video, but she’s also incredibly personable and generous and funny when answering questions in-between songs.
She talks about her ability to write hit songs in under 10 minutes, how she owns over 400 items of Michael Jackson’s clothing, and how she deals with traffic when driving in New York.
The video also featured a Carpool Karaoke first: In honor of Mother Monster finally getting her driver’s license, James decides to let her take the wheel for a little bit — although he quickly regrets the decision.

Woman Takes Engagement Photos With Her Job Offer (SEE PHOTOS)
A good man is hard to find, but a good job is truly a gem worth celebrating. So when Benita Abraham, 37, of Long Beach, California, got an offer from the job of her dreams in health-care administration, she commemorated the big life event the way most people do nowadays: by taking a series of romantic photos and then splashing them all over Facebook.
The pictures went viral shortly after Benita posted them on her Facebook page, and now she’s been getting tons of messages from all types of women commending her on celebrating a life goal that includes a stable paycheck and a 401(k) instead of just an engagement ring.
“If my pictures have reminded just one person that it’s OK to be proud of any type of personal achievement, career or otherwise, then I consider this whole thing to be a success,” she said. “You don’t need anyone else’s acceptance but your own. You do you, boo!”

N2.1B Fraud: Dokpesi Takes Fresh Plea
The founder of DAAR Communications PLC, Chief Raymond Dokpesi has taken a fresh plea before Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Mr Dokpesi who is the owner of the African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower Radio was first arraigned before Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the same court in Abuja by the federal government on a six count criminal charge of N2.1B money laundering in December 2015.
Mr Dokpesi’s fresh plea was necessitated by the re-assignment of his case to Justice James Tsoho who has just been transferred from Lagos to Abuja division of the court this year.
In the charge signed by Aliyu Yusuf, Deputy Director, Legal and Prosecution Department of EFCC, the accused was alleged to have between October 2014 and March 2015 conducted procurement fraud by receiving the sum of N2, 120,000,000 into the account of DAAR Investment and Holding Company for the funding of media activities for the 2015 presidential election campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The alleged offence is contrary to section 58 (4) (b) of the Public Procurement Act 2007 and punishable under section 58 (6) and 7 of the same act.
After taking his plea, his lawyer Wole Olanipekun , urged the trial judge to admit Mr. Dokpesi to the same bail terms earlier granted to him by Justice Kolawole, saying that he had been of “good behaviour” since the commencement of the suit.
The plea was not opposed to by the prosecuting Counsel, Mister Rotimi Jacobs, who informed the court that he was more interested in commencing and advancing with the trial.

Comedian Takes Office As Guatemala’s New President
Jimmy Morales, a former TV comic elected Guatemala’s new president on a wave of public revulsion against widespread graft, was to take office Thursday in a ceremony attended by leaders from the Americas.
Police were deployed throughout the capital to ensure security for the event.
Invitees included US Vice President Joe Biden, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa and Central American leaders. Spain’s former king Juan Carlos also arrived at a military airbase to take part.
Morales, 46, was previously best known for a television role as a country bumpkin who nearly becomes president.
Elections on October 25 elevated him to the office of head of state for real, by a landslide, despite having no political experience beyond an unsuccessful run for municipal office in 2011.
His victory was attributed to widespread public disgust with corruption, especially after his predecessor, Otto Perez, was felled by a major graft scandal.

PDP Takes Credit For Polio Free Nigeria
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) celebrates with Nigerians for the delisting of the country as polio endemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), following the fact that there has been no single reported case of wild polio virus attack since July 2014.
The party said the feat did not come by chance, but through a concerted fight against the virus by the former President Goodluck Jonathan PDP-led administration, with the support of the Nigerian people and non-governmental agencies.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, in a statement on Tuesday said the party is happy to note that polio was eradicated in Nigeria by its government as promised by former President Jonathan, who had at the 2011 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Australia, pledged that his administration would end the polio challenge in three years time, a target which was met in 2014, when the last case was recorded.

Former First Lady Storms Liaison Office In Abuja, Takes Away N100m Property Worth
Shocking details of a raid on the Benue State Liaison Office in the Asokoro area in Abuja by the former First Lady of Benue State Yemisi Suswam has been provided to newsmen.
Witnesses told SaharaReporters that the raid was conducted by associates close to Yemisi Suswam operating under the cover of darkness. These witnesses told our correspondent that Yemisi’s associates drove two large trucks to the Liaison Office in Abuja, with the intent to cart out and steal all the expensive furnishings.
It was learned that Yemisi Suswan and her sister received a contract from the Benue State government to furnish and design the Benue State Liaison Office in Abuja, which sources said was an unlawful government contract due to conflicts of interest. It was also learned that because the former First Lady and her sister furnished the office they knew the exact items to steal.
The night-time assailants–under the direction of Yemisi Suswan–stole everything they could fit into their trucks, especially pricey gadgets, electronics, and home-office accessories. The items removed included television sets, refrigerators, rugs, plates, pots, DSTV decoders, and bed sheets.
