New Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa turns 23 today

Born 14 October 1992, the new Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa celebrates his 23rd birthday today.

 

The footballer who plays as forward for Russian club CSKA Moscow and the Nigeria national team is known for his pace, composure and versatility.

 

Musa is also the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

 

Musa became the Captain after Coach Oliseh’s row with former Captain Enyeama led to the resignation of the former captain.
