Drama Continua: I was chilling at the VIP section, Oritsefemi lied – Sound Sultan

Nigerian singer, Sound sultan has denied his involvement in the fight between MSN Gang artiste, Oritsefemi and a bouncer at Lagos big club, Quilox as claimed by Oritsefemi’s team.

 

The statement released by the oritsefemi’s team reads: “On Friday 11th 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club. Oritsefemi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to stand for an older colleague and a friend.

 

“Oritsefemi was at the VIP corner when he noticed Sound sultan and Rock Steady were been bounced from entering the VIP section of the club. Oriste Femi who was not happy with the bouncers behavior stood up to ask the bouncer why he was putting up such attitude to An A list Artiste and a brother, the bouncer replied that An order was placed Down by Shina Peller the CEO of the club that no A list Artist should be allowed into the VIP section, claiming the A list Artiste were not his costumers and they have no value at his Club Just because of his rift with Davido.”

 

Sound sultan, who is also a cousin to the CEO of Quilox, took to his Instagram page @soundsultan, refuting the statement, saying he was chilling at VIP section and not denied entrance.

He wrote: “Misinformation, I was chilling in the VIP as every other time in my Cousins club,”

 

Recall that reports had it that Oritsefemi was attacked by a bouncer at about 2am on the said day, because he was trying to stand for an older colleague and a friend.

In a fresh interview, Nigerian songstress Seyi Shay has explained how Sound Sultan and his wife have been her backbone ever since she returned to Nigeria in 2012. According to the singer, she never lived with her father because she was from a polygamous family, but lived with her mom all her life, who is now sadly late, and that is why she sees Sultan as the father she never had because he has been a father figure to her. She also praised Flytime boss, Cecil Hammonds for giving her a leader to climb. Hear her;

Sound Sultan is like my dad really, the dad I never had. He is my mentor, he’s also my song writer; he and his wife are like my mum and dad. It’s a relationship that’s indescribable, God just used him as a vessel to really expose me. I used to go round with Naija Ninjas and Radio tours and he kept introducing me as his protégé. Cecil also used to tell people to put me on their shows that I’m good. Between the two of them, I flourished a lot.
