The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Ikeje Asogwa, has inaugurated a five-man committee to reposition the party after the recent general elections.

The committee is headed by the secretary of the party in the state, Steve Oruruo and Emeka Igwesi as secretary. Other members of the committee include Dr. Chris Iyiani, Oby Nwafor and Armstrong Agbo respectively.

According to Asogwa, the committee among other things will appraise and assess the just concluded elections in the state in order to identify members who engaged in anti-party activities and identifying the weaknesses and lapses of the party during the elections.

Asogwa enjoined the committee to realise the huge responsibility they had been saddled with, especially as the entire membership of the party in the state relied on their integrity and capacity as party faithful to execute the mandate handed down to them.
