See How Much Royal Allowance Prince William, Kate & Harry Get Each Year

Apparently it costs quite a pretty penny to live like royalty — $4.6 million to be exact. As the British palace recently revealed, that amount covers the yearly cost of the staff, travel, and official wardrobes for Prince William, Princess Kate, and Prince Harry, and is largely footed by Prince Charles himself.

The 66-year-old father of two — and grandfather to adorable George and Charlotte! — pays for his official life, thanks to a massive estate given to the heir to the throne for funding. That income comes to about $31.1 million and a portion of that is passed down to the younger royals as he sees fit.

“We can’t identify how much of it is allocated to their office,” the palace source told People, adding that they cannot break down specific costs, such as Kate’s wardrobe, as they have done in previous years.

But they can safely say that the $4.6 million did not account for the costs of refurbishments at Will and Kate’s country home, which was a gift from the Queen herself, or the couple’s personal staff. And while much of their major travel was covered by the countries they visited, it’s still safe to say the future king is definitely taking care of his sons and daughter-in-law.

Man Sets Himself On Fire Near Prince William, Kate’s Palace

A man set himself on fire in the early hours of Tuesday outside Kensington Palace, the central London home of Prince William and his wife Kate, and later died of his injuries, British police said.

Two fire extinguishers could be seen next to a police tent set up at the scene of the incident near the large windows of the palace’s Orangery.

Two people in white forensic suits put a green petrol canister in a transparent evidence bag under a tree nearby, an AFP photographer saw.

There was a strong smell of petrol at the scene, which was cordoned off to tourists.

“This incident is not being treated as terrorist-related,” the police said in a statement.

Officers were called to an area near the locked parks of the palace at 3:06am (0306 GMT) “following reports of a man behaving suspiciously” the police said in a statement.

“Officers attended and found a man, believed to be aged in his forties, ablaze,” the statement said.

The man could not be saved and was declared dead half an hour after emergency services arrived on site.

Kate Middleton Reportedly ‘Plotted & Schemed’ Her Way Into Marrying Prince William

Kate Middleton essentially plotted and schemed her way into marrying Prince William, according to a new report. And she had help from her mother Carole in the process.

CDL reports that the Duchess of Cambridge “is continuing her royal revolution” following the birth of Prince George and Prince Charlotte by eschewing royal protocol and “challenging power.”

Prior to marrying into the royal family, Kate “went through intense training to uphold the standards of the Queen.”

The website calls the Duchess “brainwashed” for learning the proper way to hold a teacup and even walk  everything she does is for a purpose.

However, Prince William allowed Kate’s parents to be a large part of their grandchildren’s lives. According to the website, “Carole hosted Kate and William after the births of both royal babies. The Duchess’ mother also took over their home, Anmer Hall, reforming traditions and providing Prince George with a humble and middleclass influence.”

In response, Queen Elizabeth II has reportedly “removed” the Middletons from daily influencing the Duke and Duchess and their children.

The website reports, “Kate Middleton may have plotted and schemed her way to marrying Prince William, but it’s clear the Middletons have an agenda. Queen Elizabeth has let a lot of royal protocol be shattered under the March of the Middletons, and it appears the Duchess and her royal revolution isn’t done yet.”

Kate Middleton & Prince William’s Lavish Lifestyle Reportedly Upsets The Queen

Kate Middleton and Prince William are spending too much money, and Queen Elizabeth is really upset about their wasteful ways. Celeb Dirty Laundry cites a Life & Style report that claims the Queen is outraged by the Duchess’ spending habits, which she finds “vulgar” and “frivolous.”

As for her grandson, his desire to fly his family of four around in a private jet is also a problem because it’s on the taxpayer’s dime. And last year Middleton faced backlash after using public funds to install two kitchens in their apartment. How many people really need two kitchens?

The couple reportedly spent $2.5 million renovating their country home and an additional $1 million on furniture and decorations. And guess what? The place costs $400,000 a year to maintain. Kate and William have reportedly spent a total of $6 million to redo all of their properties.

The royals, who are in New York City for a three-day tour, attended the Brooklyn Nets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game and sat court-side across from the fellow power couple, and eyewitnesses tell Us Weekly it was one epic evening.

According to an attendee at the game, the Duchess and Duke walked to their seats seven minutes into the third quarter, and while making their way into Barclays, “got a standing ovation.” Understandably so, fans were “snapping pics of them instead of watching the game.”

Royal Baby 2 Due April 2015

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge‘s second baby is due in April, Britain’s royal family announced Monday.

While the public now know when Prince George will have a sibling, the gender of Prince William and Catherine’s second baby remains a secret.

“Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015,” a statement on the website of the Prince of Wales said.

As during her first pregnancy, Catherine continues to suffer from hyperemesis gravidarum, the palace said. The condition involves nausea and vomiting more severe than the typical morning sickness many women suffer during early pregnancy.
