Former President Goodluck Jonathan and other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have begun moves to revive the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Jonathan and the party leaders have endorsed a blueprint for the revival and rebuilding of the party in preparation for the elections. A meeting was held on Monday at the Peoples Democratic Institute in Abuja to ratify the roadmap.
The meeting was attended by some party leaders, including Senator Ahmed Markafi and a former Minister of Environment, Laurentia Mallam.
The blueprint has already been circulated to all the party leaders. The roadmap has been well received by the party leaders and other important stakeholders.
