Paedophile Pastor Sentenced to 3 Years imprisonment in Ondo

An Ondo State Chief Magistrate’s Court has sentenced one Waleola Sunday, 32, a pastor with the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church in the Oke Aro area of Akure, to three years imprisonment for child molestation, Sahara Reporters reports.

Waleola, who pleaded guilty to the charges, was arrested by officers of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) following an intelligence report.

He confessed to have molested four children, saying: “I always enter public schools during their break hours to approach most of these male students before carrying out the act. And after this, I would take them to the bush and seduce before they returned back to their classes. I believe it’s devil’s work because I would always come back to my senses after I molested the little boys.”

Counsel to the NSCDC, Ebiriku David, who described Waleola as a “serial homosexual,” said that he was in the habit of seducing young males.

The offence is against section 32 (1) of the Ondo State Child Right Law 2017, David said.

101-year-old British paedophile given 13-year prison sentence

A 101-year-old paedophile – one of the oldest convicted criminals in British legal history on Monday was sentenced to 13 years in prison for 21 sexual offences against children.

Ralph Clarke, from Birmingham in the English Midlands, was found guilty of sexually abusing two sisters in the 1970s and early 1980s.

“You present as a fragile old man; however, what was plain to see was that, despite your guilty pleas, you have no remorse whatsoever,’’ Judge Richard Bond stated at the sentencing.

The victims, who were between the ages of 4 and 13 when the abuse took place and are now in their late 40s, spoke to police after they saw Facebook posts celebrating Clarke’s 100th birthday.

However Clarke denied abusing the sisters and accused them of being serial liars.

The retired lorry driver was also convicted of sex offences against a young boy, which he admitted during the trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Paedophile Spared Jail After He Tells Judge He Wants To Start A Family

A paedophile who was caught with more than 137,000 child porn images on his laptop and phone has been spared jail because he wants to start a family.

Richard Arrowsmith, 41, was facing up to five years in prison but was let-off with a suspended sentence after telling a judge he wanted to become a father.

The married man, of Church Gresley, Derbyshire, was arrested after police received a tip off in February that an IP address linked to his Sky account was used to download depraved pictures.

Officers executed a warrant at his home and seized a computer, external hard drive, laptop, mobile
phone and USB sticks on April 19 this year.

A court heard a police computerised scanning system flagged up at least 10,000 indecent images and videos on the devices.

But a large number couldn’t be categorised due to the sheer amount of movies and pictures – including 4,336 videos and 137,000 images.

Arrowsmith pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images and videos of children when he appeared at Derby Crown Court yesterday.

But he was spared jail after a judge heard he was hoping to start a family with his wife who was still supporting him.

Sentencing Arrowsmith to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years, Recorder Martin Butterworth, said: ‘You are 41-years-old, with no previous convictions and you pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity.

‘There are three charges against you in relation to the possession of indecent images of children.

‘I am taking into consideration your previous good character, you have a wife who supports you, a steady employment and your hopes to start a family in the near future.

‘These are not victimless crimes, they encourage serious abuse of sometimes very young children.

‘You were less than honest about the nature of the images.’

Arrowsmith was also ordered to pay £250 costs and carry out 160 hours of unpaid work as well as being made the subject of a curfew restricting him from leaving his house between 7pm and 5am.

He was also banned from working with children and was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register.

Paedophile Commits Suicide On The Day He Was Due To Be Jailed

A paedophile committed suicide by throwing himself off a bridge on the day he was due to be sentenced, a court has heard.

Michael Fiek, 40, who was originally from Shoreditch, east London, was due to be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court – along with two other men.

But on the day of sentencing, Judge Tom Bayliss QC was told that Fiek had jumped to his death in London.

Fiek had been facing a lengthy jail sentence, after previously pleading guilty to 14 offences – including meeting a 15-year-old boy with another man and paying him for sex.

The men then took photos of the sexual activity before swapping them over the internet, Leeds Crown Court heard.

As the photos were exchanged, the men were said to have discussed their ‘strong sexual interest in young boys.’

Sentencing will proceed for the men accused alongside Fiek –  Andrew Lynes, 51, of Deighton Road, Huddersfield, and James Bould, previously of Swindon Road, Dewsbury.

The court previously heard how the men had described themselves as ‘committed paedophiles’.
