The Newly elected President of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, (NUJ) Abdulwaheed Odusile yesterday , blasted the activities of Online Media (Citizen Journalists) for not upholding the ethics of the profession in their reportage.

He said “the Union is set to compile a lists of credible Online Media as a means to upholding ethics and weeding out non professionals in the profession”.

The President spoke during the public presentation of ‘Reportage of 2015 Elections:A Monitoring Scorecard of Print and Online Media’ a publication of the International Press Council, the Nigerian Press Council and the Democratic Governance for Development Project (DGD) supported with funds from the UKaid, EU, Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada and the United Nations Development Project (UNDP) among others.
