Twenty-two political parties on Monday regrouped in Abuja to review their performance in the last general elections. The parties used the forum to address the shortcomings that made them lose the 2015 elections.
The parties stated their commitment to improving the country’s electoral process and helping the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari with policy recommendations that can engender development.
Among the parties that were represented at the meeting are Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN), Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), Labour Party, Alliance for Democracy (AD), Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), United Progressives Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Social Democratic Party (SDP) and African Democratic Congress.
