President Buhari Will Win War Against Corruption – Kumuyi

The General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi has said that the war against corruption is one important war President Muhammadu Buhari must win.

The cleric who stated this after the Lagos City-Wide Crusade organised by the church in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), said he is praying for President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed in the war against corruption and other reforms he is undertaking in the country.

He urged Nigerians to support the president rather than complaining , saying the president needed the
wisdom of God to pull through in the fight against corruption.

Kumuyi said, “My prayer for the country is that the mighty change, supernatural change that God has done for individuals, He should do for our country and you see, God works in various ways and as we see all the things happening, fighting against corruption and all that, we need the wisdom of God, power of God and the support of God.

“My prayer is that God will assist the government to actually pull through until we get to the end of the tunnel in Jesus name. A change is coming and the change has started already.”

According to him, the encouragement he wants to give everyone is that they should have hope and look unto God to turn things around, pointing out that it may not take place immediately.

“God is going to do wonders in our country and things will turn around for the better,” he assured.

He assured that in spite of the socio-economic uncertainties in the country, there is still hope for Nigerians.

Pst. Kumuyi To Alter Some Deeper Life Doctrines

A lot of members of the popular Deeper Life church are still stunned over a recent message from it’s General Overseer Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi. Pastor Kumuyi while preaching during Sunday’s Worship Service spoke extensively about ‘The Word in A Transformed Believer’ where he openly chastised some sections of the church.

The 73-year-old preacher disclosed that some church leaders have bastardized the church’s doctrines. He reportedly stated that most of the church doctrines were man made, and he created them, not that they were from the scriptures – the reason of which is to set people on the right path are now being transformed into the things of this world.
