Olorogun Michael Ibru, chairman of the Ibru Organization and husband of Cecilia Ibru, the former CEO of the now defunct Oceanic Bank is dead. He died at the age of 86 in the early hours of Tuesday.

His death comes just over one month after the burial of his younger brother, Olorogun Felix Ibru, the first civilian governor of Delta State.

According to family sources , the late Michael Ibru, who had been battling with his health for over eight years, died in the early hours of Tuesday in Florida, U.S.

The entrepreneur was the first son of Chief Epete Ibru of Agbarha-Otor in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
