We were elated to learn that Tina Knowles married her boyfriend Richard Lawson earlier this month. Although it was no secret that the two were an item, it seemed unlikely that Ms. Tina would remarry—especially considering all that she had been through in her first marriage to Mathew Knowles.

Interestingly, the 61-year-old says that it was her 3-year-old granddaughter Blue Ivy who first suggested that they tie the knot during a family vacation last September.
