EFCC Drills Abba Morro Again

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday interrogated former Minister of Interior Abba Moro for a second time over allegations of financial crimes in the ill-fated Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recruitment exercise in March, 2014.

The EFCC on 20th October interrogated the ex-minister over the alleged scam of over N500 million received from about 500, 000 applicants during the recruitment exercise.

It was learnt that he returned yesterday to explain further his involvement in the alleged fraud that shrouded the NIS recruitment exercise.

During the recruitment process about 20 Nigerians died in stampedes at the National Stadium, Abuja and at other centers across the country due to overcrowding and disorganization of the process superintendent by the ministry of interior under the leadership of Abba Moro.
