Don’t Go The PDP Way, Party Chieftain Cautions APC

A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, Bala Bawa Kaoje, has advised the party not to derail in its policy direction, saying it was already going the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, way.

Speaking to reporters, Kaoje, who was former Sports Minister, stressed that a lot was required to put APC in its perspective as it had not assumed its leadership role in the administration of the country.

He said his party had imbibed the culture of inconsistency in its policies and programmes, adding that similar tendencies led to the collapse of PDP.

He said: “The worrisome situation is that our party has not seen itself as a party in government, rather it is allowing wrangling to dictate its policy direction.” “We must redirect our policy trust if we are truly prepared to provide the needed leadership quality.”

Kaoje, who blamed the nation’s set back on lack of strategic plans, also fingered a missing link between the military and the democratic government as responsible for the emergence of corruption in the country.
