Man Arrested With 2 Guns At Disneyland Paris

A man carrying two guns was arrested at a hotel at Disneyland Paris, an Interior Ministry official said Thursday, according to Reuters.

The unidentified man’s bag triggered metal detectors, according to the BBC.

French media reports a woman who accompanied the suspect was also arrested, but was not believed to have been armed.

According to preliminary checks, the man is not known to police officials, Reuters reports. Unnamed police sources told the outlet the man is 28 years old, of European origin, and carried a copy of the Quran in his bag — details which have not been confirmed.

The theme park remained open after the incident, according to The Guardian. Disneyland has not yet released a statement.

Last year, North West got her own Kidchella music festival for her birthday. This year, she got the Happiest Place on Earth. By the time her Sweet 16 rolls around, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are going to have to buy their daughter an island if they plan to keep upping the bar.

North spent her second birthday at Disneyland on Monday, surrounded by most of her family and also a light, which cannot be described, only felt.

According to the Kardashian Whisperers at E!, North’s guests arrived Monday morning. There was a party for North inside the park with lunch and cake. There were also balloons because a) kids love balloons and b) Kylie Jenner needed something to pose with.

Of course, Kim and Kanye were there. And the aforementioned Kylie. As were her aunts Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian. Khloé apparently couldn’t make it. And neither could family matriarch Kris Jenner.

Guests were asked not to bring a gift — what do you get a 2-year-old who wears Balmainto ballet class anyway? — but instead were given passes so they could skip the lines on all the rides at the park.
