Well “Olusola” Desmond Elliot is running for Lagos State House of Assembly for the 2015 elections. He’ll be running under the APC flag and has definitely joined his fellow nollywood celebrities in politics, with the likes of Kate Henshaw, 9ice, RMD and others who are already accustomed to the new found profession.

It is heartwarming to discover young people of different background finally summoning courage to play the cards of politics. Let’s just hope it is for a genuine course contrary to the perception that politics is the easiest route to greener pastures.
