Presidency Reacts To PDP’s Criticisms On Buhari’s 100 Days In Office

The Presidency has advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to stop what it describes as a pathetic effort to play-down President Muhammadu Buhari’s achievements in his first 100 days in office.

Reacting to the PDP statement claiming the economy is going down under the APC-led administration, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, blamed the PDP for the state of the economy.

He said under the PDP administration, the country witnessed an acceleration of poverty, which united Nigerians for change.

Buhari Reacts To Criticisms On Appointing More Northerners

Following criticisms that trailed the appointments made so far by President Muhammadu Buhari which many argued were lopsided in favour of the north, the president, yesterday, dismissed insinuations that he was implementing a northern agenda in his appointments.

It will be recalled that President Buhari since taking over the reins of power on May 29 has, so far, made 11 appointments, out of which only one came from the South West.

Although some people considered the appointments to be “unserious positions”, many Nigerians condemned its alleged lopsidedness, saying they were signs of what to expect from the Buhari presidency.

Ace American television show hostess, Wendy William, has laughed over and slammed many celebrities on her show. Her hot topic segments on the  Aaliyah biopic gave her yet another good laugh regardless of the backlashes she recieved.

This came after many celebrities and Aaliyah fans expressed utter dissatisfaction concerning the movie produced by Wendy and this was her reaction;

“I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend! Errbody got an opinion. Well, I must tell you, whether you love or hate, you watched. It was the second-highest rated movie on all of cable this year so far. Not just Lifetime. All of cable.”
