Colonel Austin Akobundu, State Minister of Defence, commended the Abia electorate yesterday for voting for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday’s general elections. Akobundu described the action as a show of support for the good governance that President Goodluck Jonathan has provided.

According to a statement by Akobundu, the Minister believes that the electorate will come out en masse to vote for the PDP in the April 11 elections. The minister commended voters on their show of “courage, resilience, zeal and commitment” and promised that the party would not disappoint the trust of the public.
