Sheriff In Closed-door Meeting With Obasanjo

A factional national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff, is holding a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in his Abeokuta Presidential Hilltop residence this morning.

Sheriff arrived at the former president’s residence at 11.04am in a convoy of four Sport Utility vehicles.

He rode in a Mercedez Benz AMG with the number plate AAA 673 BL.

Buhari, Saraki’s Closed Door Meeting After Independence Ceremony

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, met briefly with Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting was held behind closed doors shortly after the Independence Day ceremony.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Speaker House of representatives, Yakubu Dogara, as well as Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, were said to be in attendance at the brief meeting.

The meeting reportedly held at the president’s office after having light refreshments at the venue of the Independence Day ceremony. Details of the meeting, however, were not made public.

Buhari In Closed Door Meeting Over NASS Crisis

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed door meeting with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of Representatives.

Present at the meeting is the Speaker of the House of Representative, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and the former party minority leader, Femi Gbajabiamila.

The meeting is to afford the President an opportunity to wade in to the crisis that is rocking the house of representatives.

This meeting marks the first time that the president would meet with both camps of the house since the June 9 election that Speaker Yakubu Dogara defeated the party’s favourite, Femi Gbajabiamila, in the leadership contest.

Jonathan, Buhari In Closed-Door Meeting

President Goodluck Jonathan and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, are at presently in a closed door meeting in Abuja.

Reports gather that the meeting is holding at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers in the nation’s capital. Jonathan, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the March 28 presidential election, had during the week promised international election observers that he would meet with Buhari before the election.

Amaechi, Lamido in Closed-Door Meeting in Jigawa

Gov. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Director-General of All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Organisation on Sunday visited Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa in Dutse.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the two governors held a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Lodge, Dutse, which started at about 10:05 a.m. and ended by 11:30 a.m.

 Lamido is the Coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation for North-West zone.
