The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the dissolution of all boards of parastatals and agencies of the state government.

in a statement on Monday by Ambode’s Chief Press Secretary, Habib Aruna, the governor said the dissolution would take immediate effect.

Ambode, however, added that the Civil Service Commission, the Judicial Service Commission and the State Independent Electoral Commission were exempted.

The governor commended the contributions of the members of the dissolved boards, wishing them well in their future endeavours.

Meanwhile, the governor has also approved the appointment of Mrs. Abimbola Umar as the new Accountant General of the state.
