I Beheaded My Victim To Avoid Running Mad, Arrested Man Confesses

The Police in Abia State have arrested a man, Emmanuel Effiong, who said he beheaded a woman in order to prevent himself from running mad.

Effiong, who pleaded guilty in an interview with newsmen in Aba during his parade by the Abia Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebade, said he beheaded the woman in the night and threw her head into the Aba River.

He said a spiritualist had advised him to perform the act as a sacrifice to avert an imminent danger of running mad.

Oyebade also paraded three final-year undergraduates of a tertiary institution, who admitted that they were members of a six-man gang which allegedly dispossessed somebody of a Toyota Highlander Jeep in Umuahia on October 10.

One of the suspects, Chimezie Chukwu, 24, told newsmen that the gang specialised in car-snatching and that the incident, which led to their arrest, was his third experience.

Besides the Highlander, a Mercedes Benz with registration number AG 467 NEM was also recovered from the suspects.

Other items recovered are one AK-47 rifle with two magazines containing 31 rounds of live ammunition and one locally-made revolver pistol with four rounds of live ammunition, among others.

Oyebade, who expressed concerns over the rising cases of crime and criminality in Abia involving undergraduates, restated the commitment of the command to check the phenomenon.

What A Christian Father Told His Wife Before He Was Beheaded By ISIS

Among the 21 Coptic Christian workers beheaded on a beach in Libya last year by ISIS was a father who, before he went to Libya as a migrant worker, told his wife he knew it was dangerous and that if he did not make it back alive, to please teach their children “the principles of Jesus Christ.” So testified lawyer and humanitarian Jacqueline Isaac, who met in Egypt with the families of 15 of the 21 victims and told Congress about the genocide being perpetrated by the Islamic State.

Jacqueline Isaac, vice president of the humanitarian group Roads of Success, spoke at a May 13, 2015 hearing on ISIS and religious minorities held by the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Despite the horrifice stories and documentation she presented to the committee along with other witnesses, none of the major news broadcast outlets covered the hearing — not ABC, CBS, or NBC.

Commenting on the genocidal actions of the Islamic State, which are producing many orphans, Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) asked Isaac, “If I could ask you, where is the faith of these young people?”

Isaac said, “Congressman Smith, I went to Egypt and I met the families, 15 of the 21 families that had victims that were slaughtered in Libya. I was astonished by their faith.”

BIZARRE: Cultists Behead Students, Use Heads As Goalposts

Suspected cultists on Saturday night beheaded two undergraduates of the Abia State University, Uturu, and thereafter used their heads as goalposts.

Reporters learnt that their roommate sustained severe injuries from machete cuts by the hoodlums.

The deceased identified as Ebuka Nwaigbo, a 300 level student of the Department of Estate Management, and Samuel Ethelbert, 300 level student of the Department of Political Science, were until their death living at Chi-Doo Lodge along the Uturu-Afikpo road.

Investigations by reporters revealed that their killers were members of a rival cult group on a revenge mission for one of their members killed last month.

A source, who craved anonymity, said the cult groups – Burkinafaso and Mafia – had engaged each other in a battle of supremacy for years in the university.

He said, “Last month, one Collins Agwu, a member of Burkinafaso, was gunned down by the Mafia.

“His colleagues (Burkinafaso) decided to retaliate by killing members of the Mafia.

“That night they came to the lodge on four motorbikes carrying four persons each and they forced themselves in when one of the students living there came out to buy Indomie Noodles.

“They beheaded their targets while the third person, their visitor, was seriously wounded.

“After killing them they carried their heads and bodies in a sack bag and took it to a playground where they (cult boys) normally play football near the school gate and mounted their heads as goalposts.”

When reporters visited the university community, top officers of the school were said to be having a crucial meeting.

Spokesman for the institution Acho Elendu said the school would make comments after the meeting.

Meanwhile, there has been a heavy police presence at the school since the incident occurred.

The Abia State Police Public Relations Officer, Ezekiel Onyeke Udeviotu, who confirmed the development, said the state Commissioner of Police Joshiak Habilah had ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to commence investigation into the murder of the students.

He said, “We are willing to invite any member of the public with any useful information that could lead to the arrest of criminals to our office if such a person is afraid of giving the information to police officers.”
