A group named Move on Nigeria, has lambasted former President Olusegun Obasanjo for his recent acts and attacks against the office and person of President Goodluck Jonathan. National coordinator, Mr Clem Aguiyi, in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, said Obasanjo is a bad actor who thinks Nigerians are dimwits. “Why the PDP had tolerated him up to this point remains a worry and a puzzle,” he said.

Continuing he said, “We are aware of a plot by him and some persons within and outside the country to undermine the government of President Goodluck Jonathan. “We find the false claims and allegations reportedly made against President Jonathan by Chief Obasanjo on Saturday, in Abeokuta, very repugnant.”

Move on Nigeria said it is unfortunate that Obasanjo has made up his mind to mislead the nation with unfounded lies. “While we hope Nigeria survives his sinister interventions, we seize this opportunity to urge him to tell the truth for once before he dies…”.
