The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Senate has named Senator Ahmed Lawan as the new leader of the APC caucus.

He replaces Senate leader, Ali Ndume.

The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, at plenary read a letter written by the APC caucus informing him of the change in leadership.
