Nigerian accent has been rated sixth sexiest in the world behind Italy, French, Spanish, Czech and Queens English.

This was contained in a scientific campaign which was conducted by CNN crew who toured the world in search of 12 hottest accents.

In the report, it’s estimated that there are nearly 7,000 languages on earth, among which Nigerian accent was appreciated as sexy by native English speakers based on famous tongues of King Sunny Ade and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, according to CNNgo.com.

It said, “Dignified, with just a hint of willful naivete, the deep, rich “oh’s” and “eh’s” of Naija bend the English language without breaking it, arousing tremors in places other languages can’t reach.

“Sounds like the THX intro with teeth.”
