President Goodluck Jonathan and his main challenger in Saturday’s presidential election, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have signed another peace accord. The two leading candidates in the election signed the accord after they both met behind closed-doors on Thursday in Abuja.
The accord and the meeting were facilitated by the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections, led by former Military Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abdusalami.
The ceremony was witnessed by the national chairmen of their parties; Adamu Mu’azu of the Peoples Democratic Party and John Oyegun of the APC.
