PDP National Secretary Adewale Oladipo revealed on Tuesday that former President Olusegun Obasanjo destroyed an expired party membership card and not the new card being issued by the party.

Speaking during the welcome of a group of youth supporters, Oladipo explained that the membership card which Obasanjo tore was expired and has been signed by National Chairman Abubakar Kawu Baraje. The new, authentic card is said to be signed by PDP National Chairman Adamu Muazu and Oladipo himself.

Deputy National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus has boasted that the party is set to surprise the APC in the South West and that President Goodluck Jonathan will be re-elected on March 28.
