Tim Diche, Kogi state commissioner for agriculture and natural resources, has resigned his appointment.
Kingsley Fanwo, director-general, media and publicity to the governor, confirmed the resignation in a statement.
Fanwo said Diche resigned on personal grounds.
Diche, a Pharmacist, served in that capacity for seven months.
He and Yahaya Bello, the incumbent governor, participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary conducted in August 2015.
