Convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius on Monday briefly appeared in the Pretoria high court for a hearing to formally postpone his sentencing hearing to June when arguments of the length of his jail time will commence, APA has learnt.The sentencing proceedings have now been set from 13 to 17 June, according to the court.

He has already served a year in prison after Judge Thokozile Masipa
handed him a five-year sentence for shooting dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in his home in February 2013.

Pistorius is currently serving the remainder of his initial conviction under supervision at his Uncle Donald Pistorius’ home in Pretoria.

He was granted a US$1,000 bail after the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned his culpable homicide conviction and replaced it with murder
