Rotimi Amaechi Slams “Coward” Twitter Fingers, Ben Murray Bruce On Twitter

Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation Mr. Rotimi Amaechi is not a regular user of Twitter but he was in his elements yesterday when he posted tweets in response to an earlier tweet posted by Senator Ben Murray who has since become a regular object of ridicule on Social Media. Mr. Murray Bruce had posted, “Your own minister spent ?80 million on a one day dinner, yet it is your citizens you accuse of being criminals” in apparent reference to President Buhari and Minister Chibuike Amaechi.

In response, the Minister tweeted, “A coward who is not bold enough to name the minister that he alleged criminally spent N80M on dinner is unfit to sit in our senate chambers.” Not to be outdone, Mr. Bruce tweeted again, “When you have been Wike’d, you become wicked! But you will always be my beloved brother, no matter how much you transfer the anger on me.” Thus time around, Mr. Amaechi fired his final salvo that has since kept the Twitter Senator quiet for a quill, “I will not respond to innuendos,” he tweeted, “Be courageous, name the minister. We know you talk here & do “siddon” look where you are elected to talk.” The bit about the Senator being an apparent mannequin in the Senate Chamber resulted in the Senator posting a video of his speech in the Senate and in his usual manner of begging for retweets asked his followers to retweet far and wide. Many Nigerians have slammed Mr. Ben Murray Bruce for being more of Twitter fingers than a serious senator. The Senator has since become the punching bag of several Nigerians on Twitter while in defiance has also thrown punches himself.

He is now very dependent on accounts apparently created by his associates to post supposedly heavy replies to critics in what seems like a naked man dancing on the streets to the beats of his own shame. See tweets of the Minister below.
