Barcelona Face Valencia In Copa Del Rey Semi-Finals

Luis Enrique’s men beat Athletic 5-2 on aggregate to set up a tie against Gary Neville’s side in the final four as they look to retain their crown

Barcelona will face Valencia in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

The holders overcame Athletic 3-1 in the second leg of their quarter-final tie on Wednesday, beating them 5-2 on aggregate.

Luis Enrique’s men have been pitted against Gary Neville’s side, who followed up a 1-1 first-leg draw against Las Palmas with a 1-0 victory on Thursday to book their place in the last four.

Meanwhile, Celta Vigo, who pulled off a shock by beating Atletico Madrid in the last eight, will face Sevilla in the other semi-final, after Unai Emery’s side knocked out surprise package Mirandes.

The first legs will be played at Camp Nou and the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on February 3, before the return legs one week>
