Fayemi’s Ministerial Appointment Means Nothing To Us- Ekiti PDP

The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has restated that it was not in any way rattled or suffer any fear with  the
appointment of ex-governor Kayode Fayemi  as a Minister by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, the  party’s Publicity Secretary, Jackson Adebayo,  said  Fayemi as a governor  allegedly plunged Ekiti
into a huge debt of N76 billion, saying this is still fresh in the minds of the populace .

The PDP spokesman added that some of the bad policies allegedly initiated by Fayemi would make it difficult for the ex-governor to
influence anything in the politics of the State, even if elected  a president.

Adebayo added that  it was  a great  foolhardiness,   for APC to be expecting something spectacular from Fayemi  as a minister, having
failed to influence the party in a positive manner, even as an incumbent governor.
