The newly appointed acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu is yet to take over from the recently removed former Chairman Ibrahim Lamorde.
Inquiries reveal that Magu is yet to resume office after his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari to take over the leadership of the anti corruption agency.
The spokesman of the Commission Wilson Uwujaren said the handing over date will be communicated to journalists when the date is set.
However, former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Lamorde is expected back to the Police Force after his stint as Chairman of the anti graft commission.
Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olabisi Kolawole said that Lamorde would return to the Police to take up another assignment.
She said the redeployment of Lamorde who is a Commissioner of Police (CP) is at the discretion of the Inspector General of Police.
