Despite the huge tax payers’ money being expended on the acquisition and installation of traffic lights in strategic junctions within FCT to forestall traffic orderliness as well as enhance easy movement of motorists, both private and commercial vehicles owners as well as public office holders in the city, have cultivated the habit of violating the traffic regulations with impunity.

Report provides that Nigerian Police Force is aiding these lawless politicians to violate traffic laws and in the process harass, intimidate and brutalize innocent motorists going about their legitimate businesses.

Investigation also indicates that the recklessness of these group of Nigerians are equally responsible for couple of accidents within the city.

Further findings equally confirmed reports in some quarters that 78 per cent of the convoy drivers in the employment of these politicians are drunk drivers that care less about the statutory speed limits in the country.
