Balenciaga are pulling out all the surprises for AW15. Having already revealed Kate Moss and Lara Stone as the faces of womenswear for the forthcoming season, they’ve now revealed none other than Sam Smith as their menswear star for AW15. First came the above mysterious video via the brand’s Instagram, quickly followed by three full-blown black and white campaign images of Smith sporting Alexander Wang’s ascetic AW15 designs.

“So honoured and ecstatic to announce my collaboration with @BALENCIAGA on the upcoming autumn/winter menswear collection! You’ll be able to see my full campaign very soon. So happy.” Smith tweeted about the collaboration, alongside one of Josh Olins’ campaign.
