A suspected suicide bomber was lynched by a mob at the Ungwa Uku bus station in Kano. According to reports, the middle aged man had refused being screened at the bus stop check point by officials of the National Union of Road Transport Workers.

Police had to be called to the scene as the mob wanted the man dead. He was taken to hospital and is allegedly in a coma due to the severity of his injuries. According to police medical personnel are doing all they can to revive the suspected suicide bomber.
