Police have rescued kidnapped Zamfara Emir following a massive manhunt about his whereabouts by security agencies. Zamfara State Police Commissioner, Femi Ogunbayode, confirmed the release of the 60-year-old ruler.
He was found in Gajazema village, a town bordering Zamfara and Kebbi State in the early hours of today as the kidnappers were crossing the border. No arrests have been made as the men fled into the bushes before police could make an arrest.
